My guess is the Earthlings headline one night and KOL the other. Unfortunately no PJ. Just my guess. Hopefully wrong
Earthlings could be tough with Chad Smith/RHCP playing the Austin City Limits festival in Texas the same weekend. I suppose RHCP could play Friday and Chad could fly out for Ohana immediately after, but there's also the issue of Glen Hansard saying he isn't going to be leaving his country to perform for the rest of 2022 for family reasons.

With Glen Hansard not traveling to the states this year, I'm guessing there's a better chance of a few Earthling songs on his solo headlining night during the first weekend. EV could headline one night and PJ headlines the second night of Encore, but I'm guessing they'll have a better chance of selling tickets if they have PJ headline both nights again.

True, I didnt know about RHCP. For some reason I thought their tour was over in September. Well, hopefully we get two PJ nights!

I would honestly be shocked if this is not the PJ double bill again. I'm a lock to come back if that is the case - had the best time last year (did both weekends) and vowed to go every year if PJ plays.
Encore has always been in the works and Pearl Jam is almost certainly playing. If they aren't then there was no reason to cram all of the California shows into Leg 1. Spread those shows out between spring and fall and they sell better, but that couldn't be done because it would tank Encore's ticket sales.

The Black Keys play LA on Saturday and PHX on Monday, so that would make Sunday. Dudes are going to be busy.

Interesting no Pearl Jam
I’m not sure why people are so surprised no Pearl Jam on this. It’s Ed’s festival, not Pearl Jam. I could see PJ at it every five years or so, but not two years in a row, especially in a busy touring year for them and lots of other California shows. I travelled last year to Ohana as it was the only shows but being that it’s an expensive place to go, I wouldn’t go back this year with so many other options to see them. They’d be wise saving PJ appearances for years they are otherwise quiet, similar to how PJ used to play Bridge School in their slower years.

The only name that would get me to Encore would be Bruce.
Bruce or NY and Crazy Horse would get me there.. but that's it for me too.
But if Bruce was playing, it would be the only US show and it would sell out in two minutes and ticket prices would be through the roof. I couldn't imagine the madness of Bruce playing a small festival like that.

I understand. If PJ is playing we will most likely be going, since my wife missed out on it last year. I was able to go solo last year relatively cheaply. It won't be cheap if we go this year.
