Get a grip, based on your posts from the thread that was closed you are responsible for the situation that you are in not Pearl Jam or the 10 club. Enjoy the $500 PJ Premium seats that you bought. The band can't be responsible for peoples stupidity.

I heard an interesting thought the other day. We all seem to accept the better seats for sporting events costing more. Why would concerts be any different? If charging more helps keep other tickets lower than so be it.
It's capitalism. I don't blame the band for trying to get as much money as they can.
Yeah, I bet their bank accounts really need it. Bleed it out of the fans. Give me a break.
If you're going to take the "man of the people" route, you should be going to club shows and not sweating what the biggest bands in the world charge
I went to Brooklyn Steel last night. I hate the venue but $35 shows are great!
How do you feel about Music Hall of Williamsburg? Hitting that for the first time in May.
I like that venue. If you’re short like me, you can get a spot on the elevated area on the left side. There’s a balcony as well. Enjoy the show.
This crap could be worst. Look what Eric church just did to his fans
I don’t care how much of a fan you are of the basketball team. To cancel the concert because of a game? You committed to the show and now you expect your fans to be ok with it? This is a very bad look for him. I would be pissed if it was a show I had tickets to.

It is pretty egregious. If Eric Church is that big of a fan of North Carolina men's basketball, then maybe he should block out these few weeks and not schedule any shows during them. I mean, who could have anticipated that North Carolina would get to the Final Four? It had only happened 20 times before. It's not like he's a diehard Saint Peter's fan who would have had no particular reason to expect that his team might still be alive in late March/early April.

You could be this guy. Ooph. But I’m guessing he has the scratch to pull that off. Still would be pissed

I mean, as a big sports fan, I get it. I would hate to miss my team in the final four. But, damn, that's a dick move. I'm going to root for Duke now.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Disappointing thousands of fans and costing them the hard-earned money they spent on hotel rooms, car rentals, etc., is awful, but it's still not as bad as rooting for Duke.

I am going to say this guy won’t be the only one who ends up posting something like this.
It's my bad for not reading the post from the band more closely. And I think in the past it went lottery > VF > public onsale. The language in the post is clear. Lottery and VP, that's it.
I flew to London for the 2 shows there in 2018. Night 2 cancelled as Eddie was truly sick (not because he wanted to see a football match). Glad he made it through night 1 at least, but that was one expensive trip from NY. Point is, a big trip for a concert (or two) is a bit of a gamble these days and sometimes you loose. I am very reluctant to specifically plan a long trip around a show now. If it can be included in a broader itinerary cool, but if it is just for a show, I’m probably done with that. Of course I do have tix for the Hyde Park dates, but that is my last one!! Probably.

I love how he asks his fans to give up their Saturday night, like they have a choice. Then equates his passion to UNC to his fans passion towards his concerts, then cancels on them because the game is more important
I hope Eric Church consulted his lawyers before doing this. You have insurance in case you get sick, lose your voice, death in the family, etc. There's nothing in there for "a sports team I like is playing a big game!" Dare I say unprecedented. Maybe something similar has happened, but the performed faked an illness.

What kind of Premium car rental is that?!
Could be for multiple nights. Car rental prices are sky-high right now because of the chip shortage/car shortage.
