Ok where's a good hotel to stay in Philly? Cousin is coming in and never been so we want to spend a day there. So what are the best places to hit, where to stay?
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

We stayed at the Hilton Doubletree on Broad Street last Columbus Day weekend. Price was reasonable and it was in easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

I'd recommend getting a hotel in Old City. If you're spending a day there other than show day, definitely check out the Barnes foundation. Eat at Suraya for dinner. Make a reservation.

I did the tour of the Mint before, and it was really cool, and its free.
Also it's that time where I enjoy offering help to any non-Philly-area peeps coming to my great city (not Camden). If anyone needs recs, ideas, or plain old help of any kind, when you're here - or in advance - feel free to reach out!
Never been to this venue before. Any advice about parking? I don’t care about the price , I want convenience and a quick escape.
There is a parking lot right near the venue, behind the Sixers training facility. Easy in / easy out, but it was $50 last time I was there which was in Sept 2019

the escape outa there is a pain in the ass. prepare to sit for a bit funneling out to the bridge or 676. or beat the rush out. parking there is, or always was, lots all over the place, some across the street from the venue, some further away. and they used to be full of nitrous balloons. lets hope nothing changed. but you will see lots all over the place.
Word to the wise - not sure if Uber/Lyft has fixed this. But I was stuck in Camden after a show and drivers kept cancelling on me because they didn't want to go over the bridge (in either direction).

I feel like I already know the city inside and out from Parking Wars.
Never been as an adult. Seemed like a good excuse to see the city. In a magical fantasy world, swap the second ticket for any seat in MSG.

What a show. I would fully appreciate if you did a strict "This Was On Parking Wars"-only tour of the city (**takes picture with permit parking sign on South Street** "This is where that guy yelled 'that's not fair!"
Well, enjoy! Feel free to shoot a DM if you need anything.
I look forward to anyone new coming here going one of two ways in their judgment of this place: 1)fucking HATE it 2) fucking LOVE it. There's no in between.

No idea if it’s GA or actual seats, but just happy to be going!
This will be my oldest son’s first show (14yrs old). We were originally going to the Balt show in 20, but we all know how that ended, lol.
(Finger’s crossed that this show is the best of this tour’s run). See you all there! Can’t friggin wait!!
question is do they add a show here?
presume Apollo will be 9/10 (but hope that they do that before Quebec and add another MSG) buy they could still add Camden 9/13 too…fingers crossed

Either GA or Reserved. Should be a great show.
I doubt they add a Camden show, but that's just me.
