Like any war, the people have to want to fight. The US got their asses handed to them in Vietnam because the people were committed to their cause. Similar to the Afghans, giving them weapons means nothing if they don't have the people willing to stand up when someone shows up on their doorstep. Dictators often are better at military moves because of the diehard commitment to the cause. Economic sanctions mean little to them at this moment.Parksy said:
