What, so you can make a claim based on an anecdote but no one else can?
Memes too... the claim about 108 footballers was based on a meme.

    Some people will believe anything.
Three professional football players collapse on the pitch mid-game, live on TV, in the space of a week..

    Hard to believe.

And most of them were before covid, so obviously the vaccine reduces the chances of heart attack while playing professional hockey :)

Len Bias & Reggie Lewis too… no one even thought to ask which covid booster they got. Really makes you think…

I was at the last game Reggie Lewis played but didn't see him collapse. Arrived late (in the 2nd Q) due to my buddy being late getting out of work. We got there and after a while noticed Lewis wasn't playing, nobody around us mentioned anything as to why, heard about it on radio on the way home.
The guy should have listened to the initial team of doctors and retired (and obviously should have refused the Covid vaccine), what a sin.

It really was sad. Len Bias too. Big Pharma WANTS you to think it was the metric ton of cocaine he did that caused his heart failure, but we all know better now, don't we?

I took a long break from this post because, at times, it definitely felt like it was way more than 5-5-5 against 1. Sorry to read about @brianlux and I hope you're doing better. My main point was and is today that there was a concerted effort to suppress multiple treatments of Covid in favor of vaccines. The United States alone had secured half a billion shots  before they were approved. The US government was all-in on vaccines. If treatments are known to be working the amount of people getting vaccinated decreases.
    Things were different then

    Thanks for kind thought, K.
About 20 years ago, I volunteered at the Marshall Health Library in Placerville, CA.  One of the things we promoted strongly there was the notion of "Complimentary Therapies", the idea being to take the best from traditional as well as alternative medicine.  As much as it is impressive that these vaccines were created in amazingly short time, I question how well they have been test.  I'd also have like to see a more open-mined outlook at the wider scope which would include alternative therapies as well (and, of course, I'm not talking about bogus nonsense such as drinking bleach and such).
I think many people have had good protection from vaccines, but there are people who have not fared so well.  I have not been able to prove (so will not claim) that the vaccines affected my health negatively, but since getting them, I now have a life-long autoimmune disease that that has given me ulcerated oral lichen planus (I have sores in my mouth all the time that make eating difficult), as well as lichen planus on my legs, arms, chest, and back (and it ain't pretty).  Add to that frequent periods of low energy and fatigue, a sore throat that comes and goes in a matter of hours, feeling feverish for a few to several hours but when I take my temp it registers below normal, and recurring pain in my abdomen.  All undiagnosed by various doctors.  They haven't a clue.  Was this all cause by the vaccines?  I cannot say.  But that's when it all started.
So yeah, sadly, we live in a rather black and white, all-or-nothing world.

Why don’t you share the first sentence in the article that you’re claiming is blowing the whistle on suppressing facts?

“ The FDA agreed to delete certain social media posts and webpage updates that urged people to stop using ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid-19.”

Edit: shame on any credible news site that gives a clickbait title like this one that trolls can easily use to spread garbage claims

That's some incontrovertible evidence right there. We should really promote mass suicide as an alternative too.

A lot of people were pushing bullshit treatments for mysterious reasons... hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, drinking bleach, shining flashlights up your ass (those last two came from the president who was in office at the time btw :D )... If people want to treat their covid by drinking bleach or ingesting a parasite killer or sticking mag-lights up their butts, have at it.

With that being said, none of those things had proven effective against covid, so I can't really fault the government for advising against those treatments considering how contagious the virus was.

No one appreciates your negativity.  Poncier is thinking outside the box, spitballing.  It's healthy and the same thing Trump did when suggesting lasers and bleach during his daily briefings.  If that type of thinking is good enough for 45, it's good enough for me.
