I still find it a struggle that most things I read try to focus on immunity and anti-bodies. I seem more fixated on t-cells. I have four shots, I've had covid, my body has a template on how to fight covid, even if it encounters a slightly different strain, am I really at risk to get that sick from it anymore? It's not like the virus is infecting a virgin population like it did 3.5 years ago.
Even with omicron, 30% of people here stopped getting boosters, but it seemed to make little difference on how sick people got, or hospitalizations.
I guess I'm getting tired of needles.... but I never bothered getting a flu shot... I'd get a bad flu once every 5 to 10 years, but i'd be sick for 3-5 days then back to it kind of thing.
I suppose the same thing will happen this year that happened last year. I'm not too concern with getting covid, but I am concerned about getting it at in opportune time, like Christmas. I'll probably overthink and get one a few weeks before Christmas again as not to ruin holidays

To claim there is a secret program to harness the sun's energy by California Gov. Jerry Brown, Pacific Gas & Electric, and Rothschild Inc.,and describe her as calling it a "Jewish space laser" to the point where many people believe those are her words just isn't accurate. I thought for sure she had used the term "Jewish space laser" and it sounds like I'm far from the only one. She never used the word "Jewish" or phrase "space laser." Her theory is crazy enough. We don't need to put phrases into her mouth to make it sound even worse. She's a 10/10 crazy on her own without our help. That's all I'm saying.

I agree that it's wrong to put quotation marks around the phrase as if she said it. She didn't say those words. It's more accurate to say she blamed it on lasers, from space funded by people who have Jewish last names.
I'm pretty sure this isn't the only time she's dabbled in anti-Semitic rhetoric / conspiracies either, so it's not as if this is an isolated incident.
So. On FB I have a conservative friend that just heard "They are planning on shutting down the US again." Asked for sources? None. A few friends chimed in "yeah I am hearing about this too now"
Another piped up "I have alternative news outlets that aren't mainstream."
I chimed in that if it came from redit or Qanon to please stop spreading this bullshit.
So. Be sure to have your ear to the wind because the next big hubaloo is coming.
Is Q still a dman thing anyway?

Can FEMA camps be far behind? They’re in Hawaii, you know?
I’m already at the maximum that I can take with the conspiracy theories after hearing about how the space lasers caused all the fires.
lol. So I looked up on this. She did say space lasers but never "Jewish space lasers".
It's still funny as hell though.
I heard Jewish Space Laser so much I thought for sure it was true she said it. I just looked it up, and its sort of true. It looks like she never did say "Jewish Space Laser" but did say space laser like you said. She also blamed the Rothschild family for spearheading the laser program. So that's where the Jewish connection came from
Interesting.
It's incorrect to attribute the quote "Jewish Space Lasers" to her, but it's still accurate to say she blamed it on space lasers from a program spearheaded by Jews.
She said she didn't know the Rotchchilds were Jews. I had no idea they were either but to say that she blames "jews" in general is a stretch. She blamed the Rothchilds.
The space laser shit is just batshit crazy though.
It’s a big stretch to go from what she said to “JewishSpace Laser” though. Reading more about it, I don’t actually think she even used the term “space laser.” I can’t find the original post this came from, but have found multiple reports saying she was describing what she thought was an experiment to harness the sun’s energy. Snopes described it as “Greene theorizedthat a space-based solar generator, used in a clean-energy experiment with the goal of replacing coal and oil, could have beamed the sun's energy back to Earth and started the fires.” and “that among the entities behind this conspiracy were former California Gov. Jerry Brown, Pacific Gas & Electric, and Rothschild Inc.,” Saying the Rothschilds are one of several entities involved and taking that to mean it’s Jewish is more than a stretch. I just think it’s funny that after all these memes and jokes she never did say it. I never bothered checking because it was so commonly accepted. I’m not defending her, it’s still a stupid statement. But it’s also a manifestation of social media as much as her comments. And I find it funny how easily we can run with the story when at best it’s only half true. Don’t get me wrong, she’s still crazy. I just don’t think she ever did say “space laser” let alone “jewish space laser” despite so many quoting her as saying it.
Any mention of the Rothschilds in a conspiracy or in a context of some kind of nefariousness or suspicious event/behaviour is a dog whistle. Just stop.
Seriously? I just learned they were Jewish from researching Jewish Space Lasers, lol.
I'd ask most people if they knew they were Jewish before this?
Hell, I'd ask people if they knew Rod Carew was Jewish before that Adam Sandler song.

So there you have it.
"Marjorie Taylor Greene’s space laser and the age-old problem of blaming the Jews
Why conspiracy theorists always end up pointing the finger at Jews — and why that’s a problem for the GOP.
...It’s the latest in a long line of conspiracies about the Rothschild family, and those conspiracies are always, at root, anti-Semitic: Since the 19th century, people have used claims that this one particular wealthy family controls the world to cast aspersions on Jews in general.
Nor is this an isolated anti-Semitic incident for Greene. In December 2018, she shared a video on her Facebook page, which features a prominent British anti-Semite explaining that “Zionist supremacists have schemed to promote immigration and miscegenation.” This is a conspiracy theory that seemingly motivated the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter’s rampage in October 2018, less than two months before Greene’s post. Despite concrete evidence that these ideas were endangering American Jews, Greene chose to spread them anyway.
In this, she wasn’t alone. On October 31, 2018, three days after the Pittsburgh shooting, then-President Donald Trump blamed the approach of a migrant caravan coming to America’s southern border on George Soros — a Jewish billionaire who, like the Rothschilds, is often cast by anti-Semites as a villain in their conspiracy thinking. Soros is a frequent boogeyman on the right, blamed for the world’s problems by everyone from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to Fox News host Tucker Carlson."

See the Britannica link I provided in my last comment. The conspiracies about that family go back some time.

I think that ends when you're a teen? Or don't you have to live there for a few years? Law to return? I'm pretty sure you'd have to go before a group to get it though, oy. Haven't read up on that in a while. Might look into that again. This was a fun back and forth.

Regardless, marrying a Jewish woman, going to temple and wearing a chai necklace does not make one Jewish. However, perhaps being sung about in an Adam Sandler song makes one so, for some, yo.

Did you know Rod Carew was Jewish, lol? Yo?
Did Rod Carew invent space lasers?
So you didn't. Got it. Get MLB'd yo.
So he married a Jewish woman and attended a Jewish temple. Does that make him Jewish, yo?
Hmm, he wore a Chai necklace, doesn't that count? oy...
Wearing a chai necklace gets you auto citizenship in Israel, right to return, yo?
I think that ends when you're a teen? Or don't you have to live there for a few years? Law to return? I'm pretty sure you'd have to go before a group to get it though, oy. Haven't read up on that in a while. Might look into that again. This was a fun back and forth.
Regardless, marrying a Jewish woman, going to temple and wearing a chai necklace does not make one Jewish. However, perhaps being sung about in an Adam Sandler song makes one so, for some, yo.
If I ever met Rodney Cline Carew I would have to ask him if he was a convert or not then.
Get his John Hancock and be sure to have his baseball card in your pocket and a sharpie when you do. As he’s signing, lean in and ask him if he’s Jewish. Then let us know, yo.

They named Carew and John Woo in the same song, lol. That has zero implications that he was Jewish. Sure Shot is a great song BTW.
I didn't know Beasties were Jewish until the second album when more articles were written about them. "That's right my names Yauch" Adam Yauch? Oh yeah, he's Jewish. "People they be thinkin they can take out Adam Horowitz" Oy!!!

Her theory is crazy enough. We don't need to put phrases into her mouth to make it sound even worse. She's a 10/10 crazy on her own without our help. That's all I'm saying.
I'm pretty sure this isn't the only time she's dabbled in anti-Semitic rhetoric / conspiracies either, so it's not as if this is an isolated incident.
The space laser shit is just batshit crazy though.

It's also worth pointing out that conspiracies about the Rothschilds aren't new.
