But in the very next paragraph he admits his extreme bias by stating his ultimate distrust in governments as "they deal in power, they don't deal in truth". To some extent, I agree with that, however, they also deal in mitigation. They keep from the public what they think will keep the public safe (whether I agree with that practice is another thread). In the end, what positive effect would stating "it could have been a lab leak from china) have had on the public? None. The fact is the virus was here. I made it as far as to where they compared it to the early days of the Hunter Biden laptop story... the media had good reason to not report on that based on its weak sourcing. That was what responsible reporting should do.
People are mad that story didn't get more traction, but it's still very much unproven to this day, and to your point... what would have changed at the time if more credibility was given to the theory? Nothing. The virus still would have been here and we still would have had to deal with it.
