I think there are enough hints. They said stay tuned for updates in the last newsletter. They said early 2022 in the November email. Their social media has been posting ballparks and even something like there’s nothing like a home show. I still think they’ll make us wait until the 7th but it’s not for lack of clues.
The early part of the year ends one day after the announcement date, apparently.

I'm not saying this is the case, I hope it's not - but in the event that they have to cancel/totally revamp the tour, what is an acceptable token of appreciation to say 'we're sorry we couldn't make the dates work, thanks for sticking it out for 2 years'
I am running out of vacation days as I wait. Got some saved to ensure I can hit 1 of my 3 shows....should be ok, but man it's annoying. And I feel terrible for people that work at places that have to turn in for vacations days for the year all at one time. I am fortunate that isn't the case for me. But ... it's always good to get the dates in the calendar before a work-related conflict arises for those dates. Fingers crossed as today would help me a lot. Have something I need to book tomorrow.

Benny’s for all impacted ticket holders. Or token for guaranteed GA to a future show.
I know it’s unorthodox, but at this point, it would be cool if they could just announce the dates today even if tickets won’t open up and go on sale for another few weeks.
I think all of us are more concerned with the when instead of the other details. If the announcement is planned for a week or two from now, then whatever dates planned are likely locked in. It only hurts the fans to continue to wait. Announce the dates already and let people block off vacation days while they still can. Open up tickets and refund windows next week or whenever if you’re concerned about staffing or what not.

I think this is what is irking me the most about the wait - given the nature of these dates, you have know that many fans will be traveling. Almost no shows in the Northeast states, meaning Boston/Philly fans will be traveling, some to Canada, some to NYC (many to Baltimore, but that is what it is), and I'm sure many were traveling west, as well, because if you're in New England in January, shows in Nashville, Arizona, and/or California are pretty appealing. So, to tease that shows would resume in May, but then wait and wait to reveal dates is at best incredibly out-of-touch with the fan base, and at worst, just uncaring.
I'm pretty fortunate in that I can usually get time off on pretty short notice, but my partner can't, and most fans can't. Not to mention flights and hotel rooms, if needed. At this point, I do hope the shows I have tickets for are pushed back to the Fall, but the way the band announces tour dates, I'm worried all I'll know in "early 2022" is that my dates are in the Fall, with that announcement still to come.
"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."
I kind of want to start a bunch of insanely ludicrous rumors I here about the upcoming dates just to see what propogates to the outside world.
One of the cast members of the TV show Modern Family told me that the band decided to open for the Chili Peppers this year instead of solidifying their own dates.

It’s not that unorthodox. The 2016 ballpark shows were announced with the arena tour but their lottery was a couple of weeks later.

Same here. I am only looking at shows that I can drive to (STL, OKC), but it will still require some work to make these happen. The sooner we get this info, the better.

Been thinking about that adage, actually. I am curious how many people are like me and learned about that saying as advice to not over scrutinize something, like if you keep staring at the the pot of water it's not going to ever boil and be ready to add the pasta or whatever.
BUT ACTUALLY, I only recently realized that the saying is really "a watched pot never boils over," if you keep watch over a heated situation it can be managed, but if you don't keep watch over it it has the danger of becoming a mess with the boiling water/tomato sauce spilling onto the oven.
Today would really work, as westjet has a 26 percent off sale going on. C'mon it has to be today.
No kidding. I was about to say the same thing.

I'm in the exact same boat. Today is my cutoff for vacation days. I have a possible trip planned for April with some friends, but have been waiting on these rescheduled dates to be announced. Don't want to sound like pity-party, as there are more important things happening in the world, but my God, I feel like I've been reading this thread for 7 years. Really hoping today or tomorrow something gets announced. Otherwise, I'll see everyone in the fall.

I feel you. Only holding 2 shows, but depending on what time of year these are, will affect other family travel. 1st world problem, but still a problem. Not looking good for today IMO.
Holy hell people, the Earthlings tour just wrapped last night and it's still early on the west coast.
Is it still early in the year?
