  • I definitely get the frustration, i know i'm ready for an announcement too, but i guess i'm lucky (or unlucky, depending on how  you look at it) to where i'm only headed to one show.  And it's a local show so no airfare or hotels are involved for me.  I couldn't imagine the stress some of you are going through holding many tickets to many shows, including some overseas shows, i'd be going insane.
And only bc I am really ready for a show, I really hope Nashville isn't moved to the fall. But if it is, at least i'll know when it's finally going to happen!!

I understand the frustrations in this thread but we all need to take a deep breath and stop with the complaints. We're one day closer to this band, who has meant so much to so many of our lives, just saying they're done. They were putting together the tour we have been asking for and everything went to hell. If I have to get a refund after two years because something doesn't work for me, it is what it is. I'll find my way to a show somehow, somewhere, and it'll be just like the last time I saw them at Wrigley in 2018. They don't need the money. They are set for life. This is all icing on our cake. Be thankful, be patient.
Nah.  Took a deep breath, and I'm still frustrated and pissed.  Sorry.

I am ZERO days closer to seeing the band, since they cancelled my only show (Baltimore), and I received a refund for something that was completely out of my control, and something I was looking forward to for literally years.  Could I have used that $200+ at some point in the past two years?  You better believe I could've.

Why should we be thankful that they're dragging their feet with this tour, while the EV shows are going straight ahead and all kinds of new merch is landing?  Let's just ignore the fact that the whole solo tour was scheduled and launched before any answers for the 2020 reschedule have reached the fans.  A little transparency would go a long way.

I don't disagree with the idea that this band has meant so much to us in many of our lives, but I currently have this awful taste in my mouth that I can't shake, and it's due in no small part to how they have handled this tour.  I hope the rescheduled dates drop soon for everyone that's still waiting, but I'm honestly not even that excited about the idea of going to a PJ show right now, as much as I never thought I'd say that.
Going to be interesting if and how 10c helps out those fans who had tickets to Baltimore. If they do announce something soon with the rest of the tour I hope it is satisfactory enough for you to change your thoughts. If not it really is a tough situation with the reno’s that should have been addressed months before they did.

Pearl Jam is like having a kid in private school….you can bitch about it all you want and threaten to leave, but the second you drop out someone is dying to take your place(10club#). Complain, complain and complain but as soon as they do something good it’s all roses again.
Hahahaha.....as someone who is on the school board at a private school, this is great analysis!!!!

Talk about players bailing on their fans so they could drive tickets up to $150 for bleacher seats so they could 600m contracts instead of 400m and oh BTW fully guaranteed even if they suck.

Is it the 10c organization or is it the band? The band are the players here. Redirect your energy to them. 10c just follows orders.

C'mon it is the ownership that is the problem.  Ask any fan that has been through a rebuild, prices don't go down because payroll goes down.  People love to take it out on the players because there is a good chance that at one point in their lives they wanted to be one so they feel they don't appreciate what they have, no one dreams of being an owner because it is so unattainable.  This lockout is almost all on the owners.

I don't really care about baseball but the players are locked out, not on strike. They didn't bail on anything.

Completely crazy not announcing the tour dates. Feel lucky here with the Euro tour. Not sure how they expect people in the US to book off leave from work with that short notice. Wondering what the real reason is behind this delay? Is the band really that disorganised or is one (or more) of the band members being difficult about touring (obviously not EV who appears to have got tired with things and done his own album and tour!). All very odd

Sea Hear Now part 2? The festival is ending its early bird pricing on Friday which means the lineup should follow very shortly after that. Which might be around when we get a Pearl Jam announcement…..

Foo Fighters have done about 7 world tours in the past year.. tough to think it’s an industry, marketing, insurance etc issue at this point

was thinking that too, but other than announcement dates potentially lining up, I haven’t heard any rumblings this time around.  Felt like I knew well before the announcement in 2020.

I’ll go to festival either way, but would be a lot cooler with my favorites there.

can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?

It’s entirely on the owners. They literally locked out their labor force.

Back on topic, I gave up and got a refund for my SD tix. Just too much time and uncertainty if I could even make the rescheduled dates (I live in Chicago). Got the funds back on my credit card today. Seen 60+ shows since '94 but enough is enough.

while yes March is still early 2022 I don't think any reasonable person thought it would be into March before an announcement.
Agreed and that's why it's not the band just being lazy with an announcement. They sent out the update in early November right before Omicron hit and somewhat upended things for two months. Thankfully that has subsided but it had to be a factor with the insurance coverage and commitments needed. They likely had a plan, were thrown a curveball again and had to reassess. The tour is happening in 2022 they just have to figure out when.

Maybe they should tell their fans that.
Bingo! It’s not that hard. The lack of transparency is alienating a large portion of their fans. It’ll be interesting to see what the demand will be for these makeup dates.

Is there anything official that says when you have to request a refund by for the postponed NA shows?  I looked at my TM email and PJ FAQ and see no deadline.

If the deadline is 3/2/22 as someone mentioned earlier this could be before the tour announcement.   I would hope any announcement would extend the timeline for requesting refunds. Seems odd that they could change dates and a nice reward for all those waiting people is that they can’t request a refund if the new dates don’t work.

The lack of leaks and credible rumors this close to what we think is an imminent announcement is very strange.

Whenever a concert changes dates you can request a refund. Not sure why people are hung up on the current window.
