I used the venue open dates method and got all of them squeezed into May. Anyone want to see the list? Unverified, zero inside intel and purely speculative.

Looks well thought out.  Somehow I don't see them going 4 weeks without ever more than one day off between shows though.

Are they obligated to Covid testing or are they mandated too?   Regardless of the answer now it could be totally different in May.
We don’t rapid test for the flu.  And yes I know it’s completely different but eventually we will treat it as such.
It’s the unions behind this requiring daily testing of each performer and crew member. There is no just ignoring if someone is asymptomatic and carrying on as normal as suggested, until entire changes within the industry allow for it.
They are just hurting themselves with this policy then.  Are any other industries still testing daily? Sports aren’t anymore

Crazy as it seems, the only differences from the original plan was an extra day off after MSG and an extra day between OKC and Denver.

Shorter sets in terms of total time, yes, but not necessarily less songs. Just less extending into jams (sorry Boom), like they did in Ohana. Closer to studio versions. Let’s say 4 minutes on average per song. Fits easily 12 of them per hour with some time and chatter in between songs. If lucky between 25-27 songs.

    Montreal 98, 00, 03, 05, 11
    Toronto 03, 06, 11
    Ottawa 05, 11
    Quebec 05; Saratoga 00; Boston 04; Toledo 04
    Albany 06; Honolulu 06; Hartford 08
    Costa Rica 11
    London (Ont.), Hartford 13
    Quebec, Fenway 1 + 2 16; London 18
EV Montreal (2), Berkeley II, Albany, Boston, London (UK)

Extension of songs helps give Ed’s voice a break though and 25-27 songs a night for any other band would be great. For these guys that is a short set.

If you look at the MSG calendar, there's already a musical act or some act for May 12th.  In fact, half of May already has listed acts so you can probably figure out what days PJ won't be playing at MSG in May.

Edit:  Oh snap, that looks like a date for a different arena.

Agreed. Could all be solved with an extended Mankind played each night.

Fair point.  On the other hand they were two years younger not to mention however much extra aging we've all done since then.  And of course they never played the original schedule.

One thing is for sure - a lot less people will want to travel to shows with their travel plans seemingly always up in the air with postponements and cancellations around every corner
I know that I have 2 travel shows from 2020 and that I probably will drop the one. Cheap flight prices originally helped me choose the one show, and with the high possibility of a same day cancellation, I am unlikely to take that gamble.

Yeah.  I am willing to make that gamble for a few US shows I think, but I am definitely second guessing the two Europe shows I have planned after the postponed EV shows.

Flights for May are just about to be at peak buying time, so hopefully we finally hear something about these NA shows in the next couple of weeks.

I am picking a city that if PJ cancels I will still have an amazing trip. No regrets either way and once the dates are announced I feel confident enough because of that to go all in without worrying about it.

Yeah, we don't mind getting "stuck" in places like Nashville or Toronto, but St Louis? I've spent time in St Louis, not eager to go back unless it's to see Pearl Jam.

We are in the same boat. We have tickets for London, but the trip is corresponding with our 30th wedding anniversary. If the shows are cancelled, we will still have a good time in London and depending on the COVID situation, we are planning to go to Paris as part of the trip.

Yup, that’s why we’re full steam ahead with California.  If any show gets postponed we will hit more baseball games or the beach.

I am so happy with our short trip last year to California. So much to do and see. You will have a lot of fun either way man.

The only Europe show I have right now is Prague. I have never been there and have already planned a 10 day vacation to visit different places in the Czech Republic with a friend of mine who lives in Paris. I will be bummed if something happens with the show. But I plan on having a great time visiting the country anyway.

I am picking a city that if PJ cancels I will still have an amazing trip. No regrets either way and once the dates are announced I feel confident enough because of that to go all in without worrying about it.
As if I wasn't having second thoughts about Tool in Cleveland next month already.  :/
Let me know if you need any recommendations.  Depending on what youre interested in, Cleveland is a great place for a few days

Cleveland is actually way nicer than its reputation.
I'm just being an asshole... this will be my third visit to Cleveland, and I've had a blast each of the other two times I was there. I'm a big fan of the city and am looking forward to enjoying some more walleye next month.

I'm just a little more anxious than I want to be about dealing with the logistics of flying out there for 3 days for a show that could get cancelled at the drop of a hat.
