I’m ready today! Indoors, outdoors, don’t care, I’m there!
Ready now for any where.  Just did the Indy 500 with 135,000 people - largest sporting event post pandemic.  No known issues reported.  Masks were “required” at all times except if actively eating or drinking, which was liberally interpreted or just outright ignored.  Certain places required proof of vaccination…anywhere near race crews (I’m vaxed but not really a race fan, so didn’t partake in that particular venture).  Very hopeful we can resume large gatherings more widely soon.  Bring on PJ’s fall tour!  I want some live Gigaton tracks!

Me too. I hope their Ohana set get's a live stream treatment. The whole planet needs some live new Pearl Jam passion right about now!

I've got my first Red Sox game since the pandemic began at Fenway in a week. If that doesn't go well, I might just be done with all of it.

The extra money in my bank account has been nice.

I got asked to go to a Kid Rock concert about 10 years ago.  I went.  It was actually pretty damn good.

    I miss concerts.

Still at 50% on vaccine.. hopefully 2nd shot before the end of july.

The Black Crowes confirmed yesterday that they are touring this Summer and we have tickets at the end of July at an outdoor venue. I just bought Sun Volt tickets for September at an indoor venue. Based on the latest CDC guidelines, we are more comfortable than we were a month ago.
The band opening for them, Dirty Honey, is AMAZING!! Have a great time!

Watching my Bruins play tonight. 17 thousand fans. Majority not wearing masks.

Soon other arenas will follow. No need to get vaccinated or get a covid-19 test to see a show.
HIPPA laws exist about medical privacy, asking this is a violation of them.
    In what way exactly?

I will only be comfortable with Outdoor shows by the fall
Just bought tickets to Cvrches last night for their show in Philly in December. I think the family and I will be ready for it by then. Going to baseball games and more places this summer to move towards it. We will feel much better when 8 year olds can get the vax too so the whole family can be protected.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

It is exactly zero violation of HIPAA laws, we covered that in subsequent posts.  These laws govern how health care organizations/agencies can share (or not share) patient info, not how patients can share (or not share) patient info.

I am glad that the Foos are doing this (2 week prior full vax proof required) and hope they have a way to try and identify the scammers.

Hope everyone has a great time!

I went to my first concert on May 1...the Vax Live gig with EV & Foos.  Everyone had to show proof of vaccination, and you were required to wear a mask.

I felt pretty comfortable, as did my wife who is a medical doctor and is very cautious when to come to Covid precautions.

Any idea if they accept a picture of vaccine card as proof?

Im just wondering what happens if I lose my vaccine card, concert is the last place I’d want to take it

MSG is accepting the Excelsior pass - an app where you load up your vaccination information and it stores on your phone. You can store it in your Apple wallet, or just keep it in the app on your phone. I think the app is specific to New York State, but other states may have something similar. It is considered official - so you don't need to take your paper card with you everywhere.

Nice - hope that they can come up with a way that is crazy difficult to counterfeit.

I'm fully vaccinated and looking forward to concerts, just as I was looking forward to being able to travel again. The hard part, for me, is not getting over my fear of COVID (yay, science!) -- it's the realization that everyone else is out there itching to travel, go to restaurants, and attend concerts again. So. Many. People. :o   *That* is a shock to the system for this introvert.
