Now that vaccines are available for anyone who wants it, at least in my state, I'm ready for a lot less restrictions. I didn't feel this way just a month or two ago.

Next week here the Pfizer & Moderna vaccines will be available for all ages here. All ages! It's good to see things rolling out. Hopefully the restrictions will be lifted soon as we are still in lock down. We haven't been able to fly or drive across the next province in many, many months.

The Black Crowes confirmed yesterday that they are touring this Summer and we have tickets at the end of July at an outdoor venue. I just bought Sun Volt tickets for September at an indoor venue. Based on the latest CDC guidelines, we are more comfortable than we were a month ago.

Getting the 1st vaccine today here in Canada.   I'll be good to go a few weeks after I get the 2nd one (which is probably going to be 3 or 4 months after the 1st one?).   A little jealous that America is so far ahead of us, but feel bad for all the countries that are behind us (in terms of vaccinating the population).

Just hoping the PJ tour doesn't get rescheduled until I've gotten my 2nd shot and it's had a few weeks to perculate.

I wonder when the US/CDN land border will reopen.  Probably late summer/early fall?

For me it really depends on a lot of different factors. I would attend an indoor show now, but with my mask on and as long as it wasn't packed. Definitely not comfortable being smashed against other people. I don't know why I should be comfortable with that in any circumstance. =)

Tested positive in November with zero symptoms and am now fully Pfizer vaxxed and ready to go! Been to a few MLB games with 4 more planned for the season and have loved every second. With CDC guidelines further relaxing restrictions, I am excited for the rest of the year.

Think we'll be like Bill Hicks, going to a nightclub once a year to fill his hump of hate for the rest of that year? 😂 I'm getting more intolerant of crowds as I get older, especially the more obnoxious people, but the gigs are always worth it.

I've been to a few baseball games with increasing attendance each time, about 30,000 fans on Sunday. Not a mask in sight. My first concert looks like it'll be GnR on July 13 in DC. Arena shows shouldn't be too far behind

I flew for the first time since 2019 this week. Airports are crowded, planes are full. It wasn't a very comfortable experience but I did it and it was fine. I think I've reached the point where I am or will be soon ok with indoor concerts.

Still not there, but it's because I only just got my first dose.   The good news is here in BC it sounds like the increased vaccine supply means we'll get 2nd shots about 50 days after the 1st.  So that's going to put my 2nd shot around late July? Once I'm 3 weeks past, I should be good to go.

I assume it's going to feel wierd the first time (or few times) I go into a crowded environment after being fully vaccinated.    I assume it's something I'll just have to force myself to deal with, and I'll get used to it again.

RATM got moved to next year, and my PJ oakland tickets are still unscheduled.  I think that makes the Headstones/Tea Party/Moist show the first chance I have at a show.   It's local and our smaller arena.   Plus it wasn't selling out all that well pre-pandemic.    I guess it could now with people jonesing for a show.

Watching my Bruins play tonight. 17 thousand fans. Majority not wearing masks.

Soon other arenas will follow. No need to get vaccinated or get a covid-19 test to see a show.

Not exactly.  HIPAA tends to only relate to healthcare providers and related entities

Yeah I don't think this violates any HIPAA laws.
Would have to see which one(s) this is meant to be in violation of.
HIPAA applies to health care insurers, providers, etc.
It would mean that a care provider could not share you are of the unvaccinated crowd.  You would have to determine if you want to share that yourself ...or stay home.
