I thought Eddie and the all star band was excellent last night.  Great covers of drive,  porch and the punk corduroy.   Molly's Chambers was awesome until Ed got a little lost or something.  I think that was probably the first time they tried Long Road so that was little sloppy.  But they were fun and energetic.  Chad Smith was really awesome,  in particular.

No wait for us. Sat in the school bus for about 10 minutes and then left with about six others on the bus with us.

Just hit up MedCare in Lake Elsinore for some edibles to help me sleep. Really nice place, like shopping at Bentley dealership.

Walked up around 8:40, 10 minutes before Ed started and their was no one at that tent on either side. There seemed to be plenty of everything available. No rug though.

Eddie's set tonight, if he didn't play the night before, would have been great. That being said, hearing predominantly the same set two nights in a row was a bit disappointing. That being said it was live music, eddie vedder, outdoors on a beach.

100% agree. I figured there would be more acoustic instead of the same both nights.

That being said,  the Clash cover was awesome.  PJ should have been playing that for years.  So much fun.

Remember though that Fri night was last minute. They likely didn't have a chance to deviate from what they had practiced.

100% agree with this, missed opportunity for a unique Pj set in my opinion. I understand the original plan was Saturday for all those songs and they were awesome on Friday.  Had to think they wanted to impress Sean penn who was in attendance with the flag day soundtrack live but I’d much rather see mike mccready shred then Andrew watt

Yes it would have been nice to have some more variety in last night’s set, but it did allow us to enjoy once again the energy these guys have. Not sure when this bunch will play another set in front of a crowd, nor when the Flag Day songs will be played. 

Although I find these new songs to be average, it’s still a treat to be seeing them live, even if it meant two nights in a row for some. I mean, after following this band for over 30 years, how can’t you appreciate Ed’s two daughters showing up on stage to perform. 

Sean Penn was there, and so was the rest of PJ (or so said EV). The very strict curefew probably cost us a massive RITFW extended jam with all of them.

Usually the wait from 1:00 pm to 8:50 is excruciating, but the weather was perfect with a slight breeze. All the Tiki Stage bands were good too (Aquadolls, Backstreet Lovers) and you could watch on the big screens from the main stage. Legs are sore from standing, but bout to get ready to do it again. Gonna arrive a bit later and fall back a bit. The 8 hour wait too much for my old bones, even for Pearl Jam.

are you allowed to go to the tent near vip area or is it outside the vip? I have only gone to the entrance one and the other one near food vendors,,, thanks for any info

Yes, it is half GA and half VIP. They literally have the barrier halfway through the stand so both sides can access.

Honestly it’s not great. There are two food truck, a BBQ and a pizza one. There’s better food options in the GA area
