Neil Young Offensive Remark About AIDS Revealed

Let’s take a big step back to the year 1985 when Neil Young was still speaking his mind of the current conditions of the world. While Young was often looked up to as someone to spread a good message and a message of not selling out, he changed his tone pretty swiftly and became hated and problematic.

The AIDS pandemic was hitting an upswing and more and more cases came out. Neil Young didn’t read the science and took his own stance on the subject. Does this sound familiar? It should. Young blamed people who were homosexual for the pandemic to which, at this current time, Young has tried to sweep under the rug.

This has kept coming out over a long period of time and into the present. If untrue my apologies...

So another hot take tweet with no context made to anger people? Awesome.

Thanks for adding context to that.

How long has he been on the air? And how long are his shows? It’s a hot take meant to anger both sides of the argument. Man, thank god I’m not on Social Media. No wonder why everyone hates each other.

Just for context: It’s never OK for Joe Rogan to say that word! I mean, he can’t be that dense.

If he wants to have a discussion around it, it’s just as easy to say “N-word.”

How far is your defending of Joe Rogan able to go?
Spouting out the N-word on several occasions in recent times is clearly worth to defend to you. So that is okey in your book.

So where is the line? Or is there none, as long as you stay on that side?

Not nearly as far as you’re going to get rid of him. I couldn’t care less about Joe Rogan. I just find the outrage laughable. Just my opinion. He’s the guy to hate right now on the left. Just as funny when the right does it. I think it’s Whoopi Goldberg this week? I’m not sure. I can’t keep up.

I’ve gotta say, I have to wipe a tear from my eye. It is SO nice to see people talking about real issues about ol’ Joe, rather than taking the easy way out by taking potshots at his looks.

Sorry, but the Mods’ “We can be better than that” is just bullshit. Based on some comments here and even in other threads, we’re way damn far from being better.

Joe Rogan says in his instagram video that he quit his job when he was 19 and on his way home in his car hesang the classic rock song "Rockin' in the Free World".

Joe Rogan is born in 1967. So this would be in 1986.

Neil Young didn't write Rockin' in the Free World until early 1989..

So what version of Rockin' in the Free World did Joe Rogan sing in his car in 1986?

It adds to the image of outlaw. I’ll say this word that I know will get a reaction, and part of the reaction is that people will say you can’t say that. Oh yeah I can, I’m a fighter for free speech and obviously you’re for censorship. This subject also gains sympathy amongst a lot of whites using the shallow logic where they think if black people can say it and it’s not racist, then so can I.

    I dunno, 15 years?

”we walked into planet of the apes, we walked into Africa”

You can’t seriously be defending this stuff. I’d personally give him a pass for some of it but you lose benefit of the doubt at some point, especially with some of the other quotes presented here and on Twitter.

Just interesting. For someone that starts every post with how you do not care about him, or doesn't listen to him you didn't bat an eye about defending him using the N-word.

Just interesting to know where the line is,where you wouldn't defend him and his actions blindly. This person you couldn't care less about and you do not listen to.

He loves Joni Mitchell’s songs too, especially Chuck E’s In Love.

Care enough evidently to look for a defense for and to find reasons for clips of him using the N-word to be just "hot takes".

I personally think this is all blowing up over JRs ratings. He has be crushing MSM for awhile now and this is the means to an end. And as you can see, everything/anything is fair game.

MSM has lost the trust of the public, which is why any form of independent thought/media has blown up on YT, podcasts, etc.  How do they fix it? keep pushing the same shit and take out the competition.

Yeah. Nothing to do with the misinformation. It's all a conspiracy to take potato head out. All following the orders of the mastermind Neil Young.

There's gotta be a joke in this somewhere.
Greta Thunberg, Joe Rogan and Gene Simmons walk into a bar and bartender Neil Young says...
    "Downtown, let's go downtown."

    Simmons: But we're already downtown

Young: Oh, well then let's just stay here.

Haha!  That's good.  If I may, a little addition:
    "Downtown, let's go downtown."

Thunberg: Hey dudes, fine but we gotta walk.  No cars!

    Simmons: But we're already downtown

Young: Oh, well then let's just stay here.

The hundred million dollar podcast. Free speech. No authoritarian government.
