    Yep.

I think it would be great if he announced today to take the attention away from Trump and his fake bandage. Either way, doing it over the weekend can still take away attention and might fend off some post election bounce

One thing to note.. the D's really only need to win three states:  MI, WI and PA.  So while I like Pete, it may make more sense to select Whitmer or Shapiro, someone who can move at least one of those states.  I do like that Pete is a midwesterner though.

This thread should be shut down - it really is a shame to see people not be able to co-exist because of what they believe in. It's even more discouraging to see people on here view followers of a party as inhumane.

I hate to break it to those people - not a single party is right on all views.

I'm voting for Trump - which I know is more than frowned upon in this community. I do not agree with all of his views. However, views that are important to me is why I am voting for him and the candidates who are aligned with my most important values.

This does not make me a bad person. Same as a person who votes for Biden, it doesn't make them a bad person.

We all have at least one thing in common in this community and that is our love for Pearl Jam - if it does any good - listen to the 9/11/2022 speech from the MSG show prior to RVM.  Take good notes of that - a message for all regardless of the party you are for.

I can only speak for me, I don't think anyone is a bad person due to their voting decisions.  I may think they are misinformed, ignorant, smart, whatever.  What makes people that may post here or anywhere "bad people" are the things they say themselves.  If you say Harris is a whore because she dated Willie Brown 25 years ago and she slept her way to the top, then I'm going to stick my finger in their eye about it.  Someone doesn't like it, they can either stop saying shitty things or leave.  But it's quite interesting that you think the thread should be shut down due to opinions.

There's no need to shut this thread down, PJ5a1, - we're all co-existing here just fine.
Believe it or not, I'm also a President Trump supporter ;) and I enjoy the give and take of our political conversations.
It helps to have a sense of humor, too.
If there are members here that annoy you too much, you can simply click on their name then choose "ignore" from the drop down menu.
Frankly, I've used up my allotment of "ignores" (really) so I just skip over certain members who post insulting things.
It's really not that hard to do.
Most people here hate FOX news with a vengeance, which is why I post so many FOX news articles and breaking news.
I figure it's the only way many of these individuals will ever read a different point of view.
I rarely argue with other members or tell them what to think, but I do think it is valuable to at least offer them another point of view to consider.
But, if you don't enjoy the conversations here, no one is forcing you.
Enjoy (or don't) and take care, my friend!

LOL...I don't like this thread so it should be shut down. Yeah...nice

Actually tRump puts Fox in the same category as CNN now. OAN and Newsmax are the new Faux News.

I agree that neither party is 100% "right".  In fact, in many ways, the whole system is malfunctioning.  A big reason for that is because many people, and all MAGA, prefer authoritarian rule by dictatorship, and have expressed a great disregard or even hatred for democracy.  I'm not sure why these people want to live in America if they don't like democracy.  Or if they do believe in democracy, why not strengthen it instead of work to destroy it?

As for supporting Trump and being a "bad person", I would not say you or any other Trump supporter is a "bad person" (first of all, I don't know you), but I would say you have made a poor choice.

I don't have a clue what you mean "his views... are important to me."  Does that mean you like the idea of destroying democracy?  Do you  hate women, but like to "grab 'em by the pussy"?  Do you believe "black and Hispanic jobs" means those people only have menial positions? Do you have a great  disregard for the planet that sustains our lives?  Do you believe the solution to the problem of widespread wildfires we are facing here in the west could be solved by "raking the forest" (probably the most naive and uneducated summation of wildfires- a subject I am very familiar with- I have ever heard)?  I have no clue what there about Trump anyone would side with.  It's your choice to vote for him, of course.

And I don't hate Trump supporters.  I just don't understand them.  But Trump himself?  Yes, I hate him.  And I have VERY rarely said that about another human being.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”

My main problem with tRump is how he used the office to enrich himself.

I have yet to see a tRumpster explain how they would react if Biden owned a golf resort and went to the resort virtually every weekend and charged the Gov't room and board for all of the secret service agents and his entourage.

That is just one small example.

The magats will say "yeah but he donated his salary to charity" but that pales in comparison to the millions that the gov't paid the tRump Org for room and board. This coming AFTER Beavis or Butthead stated that they would only charge their cost which was a complete fucking lie.
