If polling starts to show Amash could have a negative impact on Trump, those allegations will come.
I'm not convinced on the veracity of Reade's allegation, but it's not like this is a new thing with Biden
Are we equating “sexual assault allegations” with “inappropriate touching” and “creepy behavior,” or “made to feel uncomfortable?”
No, there's definitely a big difference. The latter 3 make it more likely to believe an accusation of the first, though. For the record, if I was already planning to vote for Biden I still would given where things stand today. Standing up and giving an unequivocal denial is significant to me. But the baggage we know about would make me a little nervous.

This is a pretty wild exchange from a year and a half ago. Link after the screenshot to verify it's real.

I would have bet good money in December of 2018 that Biden would get nowhere close to the nomination. But that aside, you didn't need a crystal ball to predict something like this happening if the nominee was male.

The Brett Kavanaugh comparison isn't going away, but it remains hot garbage.

    Garbage indeed.

Kavanaugh never had to face voters nor did he need one single vote from the opposition party. That is a huge part of why there was an uproar over his confirmation hearings. Biden must face voters and needs to win non democratic states in order to win the election. Huge difference.
The voters did storm the capital if I recall so that kinda counts as facing them.  Instead of dressing up like GI Joe action figures they cosplayed as Handsmaid Tale actors.

lol. I’ll have to be more specific. The voters nor opposition party had no legal action available to stop kavanaugh. The voters can certainly stop Biden.

And her story, “that she’s been trying to tell since 1993,” changes again to accommodate the few details or the “details” that may emerge. And Tara canceled a Faux Friends appearance because of “safety concerns?” How convenient. Faux News has broadcast locations throughout the country and could set up in an undisclosed location and tape for later broadcast. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, did you hear?

From the AP, a quote from a 2019 interview...

During one of the April 2019 interviews with the AP, she said Biden rubbed her shoulders and neck and played with her hair. She said she was asked by an aide in Biden’s Senate office to dress more conservatively and told “don’t be so sexy.”

She said of Biden: “I wasn’t scared of him, that he was going to take me in a room or anything. It wasn’t that kind of vibe.”

'Are you a spoiler?': why critics fear Amash's Libertarian bid may ensure a Trump win

Amash could prove attractive to small-government Republicans who already lean libertarian. But the former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh, who challenged Trump in this year’s Republican primary, argues that this is not the time.

“I think it’s a huge mistake, it’s the wrong thing to do,” he said. “It will help get Trump elected. Amash and I are friends, we’re colleagues, but he’s clearly putting what’s best for Justin Amash ahead of what’s best for the country. If he does it, it’s a selfish thing for him to do. It is very disappointing.

The commenters on this one are correct. This damages the credibility of women who try to report sexual harassment and assault. :(

Surely you know how I think well enough to know I would find this disturbing:
"“It will help get Trump elected."

But nevertheless, I do apologize for being a smart ass.  It's just that the thought of a second Trump term turns my stomach.  If he is elected, I might have to seriously look at moving out of the country.  And what a HUGE hassle that would be.  But why would I want to stay here?

Anyway, I'm sorry.  I will try to be more respectful in my replies.

    Disturbing...

    What is disturbing?

I'm sorry, you were kidding, right?
What happened to the Brian who pleads for everyone to engage respectfully? I honestly don't understand what jumps out at you from what you quoted. Joe Walsh fretting about him running?

Surely you know how I think well enough to know I would find this disturbing:
"“It will help get Trump elected."

But nevertheless, I do apologize for being a smart ass.  It's just that the thought of a second Trump term turns my stomach.  If he is elected, I might have to seriously look at moving out of the country.  And what a HUGE hassle that would be.  But why would I want to stay here?

Anyway, I'm sorry.  I will try to be more respectful in my replies.

I would give you mad respect if you did follow through w/ your consideration unlike the numerous celebs who promised to leave the good ole USA if Donald Trump won in 2016..... As you know, none of them did....

True, but then it's easier said than done.  Ever try to get a visa to Saturn?  I only know of one person who ever made there:

"My whole body changed into something else. I could see through myself. And I went up... I wasn't in human form... I landed on a planet that I identified as Saturn.. they teleported me and I was down on [a] stage with them. They wanted to talk with me. They had one little antenna on each ear. A little antenna over each eye. They talked to me. They told me to stop [attending college] because there was going to be great trouble in schools... the world was going into complete chaos... I would speak [through music], and the world would listen. That's what they told me."  *
