Why do you count odds like that, and not 1.5, 2.75 etc like I always see them

AZ new dump in 15 minutes will tell us everything if Trump is toast there or still treading water. 60K to be revealed. Also as expected Georgia plans on a recount.

So 4500 more in GA need to be counted. An unknown amount of provisional ballots as well but estimates are 500-1500. By the end of the day there is a deadline for up to 9000 military votes that can be counted. The total number that will arrive is anyones guess.

So if the map stands as is, 25 states voted for Trump and 25 for Biden.  It is crazy how divided this country is.
And how divided so many of those states are. The margins in all the remaining states is pretty small, regardless of who ends up winning them.
Well. What if you remove the voter suppression, the gerrymandering, get the voting number up to above 80% etc. Would it look as divided?
It is an issue with the proliferation and acceptance of misinformation.

I listened to conservative talk radio last night and the hosts and callers were talking as if the election was stolen, illegal, and not valid.  As if it were already proven fact.  This is going on all across the country.  So before he even gets started, Biden is considered not valid, let alone trying to find common ground with his policy or goals (he is openly saying he is in it for everybody).

Qanon, birther shit, swift boats, comet pizza, etc...  Misinformation sticks.  People gobble it up.
Same I’m in central TX turned on the talk radio.  These people are nuts.  Someone brought up evidence.  They claimed they don’t need evidence just common sense because the Democrats are too smart to leave evidence. Sick

I was hoping my feed was much more meltdown-y but it’s really just been a concentrated stream of the exact same shit they’ve peddled in defense of Trump for the last 4 years.

is this just another sweden "trust me" post or was there an actual announcement? because they can't announce a recount until the final count is tallied.

"Top aides, including his chief of staff Mark Meadows, have not attempted to come to terms with the President about the reality of what is happening. Instead, they have fed his baseless claim that the election is being stolen from underneath him."

As if anyone could pull anything out from underneath him.  (Perhaps with heavy construction equipment....)

Their commitment to this grift & the lies would be impressive if it wasn't so concerning.

Crazy to think he'll be taking the oath at 78 years old. I remember thinking Bush Sr. was ancient when he was president when I was a kid, but he was ten years younger than Biden is.

If he chooses not to run for re-election (pretty possible), I hope they have a primary and don't just decree that Harris is the 2024 nominee. I'd like Yang to have another shot at it. Not sure how it would work since no modern president has chosen not to run for a second term.
Ooh.. I guess you haven't seen. The left has already started attacking Yang.    I actually wouldn't be surprised if he tried to Primary as a Republican*.  Lol  How would you like him then?

(*YEs I would. Just being funny, but first part true)
I’m not a democrat so I don’t care if democrats attack him or if he tried to run as a republican or independent. I just like him.

absolutely....I am ashamed to admit that I wasn't sure why people kept thanking her as the GA vote started to come in.

She had the governorship stolen from her and ended up kicking their ass.

An incoming Democratic POTUS means it is time for Republicans to pretend to care about deficits again. This schtick is so tired.

I know he's not. My point is I don't really care about the political parties. So when dude above says hypothetically, "How would you like him then?" if he was a republican, I wouldn't care. He probably assumes that since I like Yang, I must like democrats in general, and would give a fuck if the left has started attacking him.

The winning margin is going to be 75k to 100k so not likely.
