    Biden
This does not surprise me at all.... young white voters are teh ones that care about racial identity, more than older voters AND members of the actual minority groups.

This does not surprise me either. It seems they are just practicing what they paid to have preached to them.

    Doesn't sound very sympathetic.

Why are the Bidenbrosises acting like this @Halifax2TheMax ? The Bidenbrosises sure are a plague and Biden has to speak up and dissociate from them publicly.

Roger Waters talking heavy shit about Biden. Quick burn all your Floyd albums!!!
After seeing a show on the Us + Them tour a few years ago I would have thought he'd back a shoe as long as it was running against Trump. Maybe he hasn't got the AMT memo about not supporting Biden means you support Trump...quick, start a Roger Waters thread so a specific few can go rant on and on about him.

news flash. not voting for Biden IS a vote for trump to stay in office.
Maybe where you live. I have the luxury of (not) voting my conscience where I live.
    no you don't

No matter where you live and no matter how it looks...

...leave your starters in.  Keep knocking down three-pointers even if you think you have a 20-point lead in the final seconds.  It's not over until it's over.  And even if Biden sails by in your state, it's nice to add one more to the popular vote margin to get under a narcissist's skin.

And just saying you have the luxury to skip tells me you actually want Biden to win.  If that's what  you want, vote for it.
    I like your analogy.
I don't want to get under anyone's skin. A narcissist already suffers from a psychological ailment. Why would I want to make anything worse for such a person, which likely would only make such a person worse of a person?

And anyone who runs for office is a narcissist. Some cases are just more extreme than others.

I have no faith in the political systems of the US; every branch is blighted. Lost it in 4th grade, when I started reading newspapers daily and history books (outside of the text assigned to the class) for research projects. I stopped saying the pledge of allegiance that year, and I've never looked back. I fought teachers, principals (philosophically) and peers (physically) every school year thereafter because of my stance to sit. My nonvote is a more grown-up vote of no confidence than sitting for the pledge, since that's not something we're forced to do anymore. It's not a country or a process that I want to support by pretending to believe in its bought and paid for institutions of structural racism, sexism and classism. Just because I might think one candidate is marginally better than another doesn't override my core personal philosophical convictions.

I don't want Biden to win. I don't want Trump to win. So I don't do anything to make either of those things happen.

How do you dare tell me that I'm my father's son
When that was just an accident of birth?
I'd rather look around me, compose a better song
'Cause that's the honest measure of my worth.

Or the 16% of Bernie primary supporters who voted Team Trump Treason in the general in 2016. Thanks "dems."

Really illuminating article on the enormous difference between Democrats and Republicans (and why you should never ever vote for the latter).

He's right. Even before corona it was less than 100% that we would have an election in the fall of 2020. And people who think that sounds crazy need to step back and really look at the last few years. So much of what Trump and the GOP have done would have sounded crazy even a few years ago, yet it all happened. This is no different.

This is a good article. I agree with the point made about how the pandemic is a big reason why Biden is leading Trump with seniors. To me, this is more important than the fact that he's underperforming with the young folks. Seniors vote!

(CNN)Newly surfaced video from 1993 appears to feature the mother of Tara Reade, a woman who accused presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden of sexual assault, calling into a cable TV show to seek advice around the time of the alleged assault.

In a "Larry King Live" segment that aired on August 11, 1993, on CNN, an unnamed woman calls in to the show with her location identified on the screen as San Luis Obispo, California. The show was about the cutthroat nature of Washington, DC, politics and media.
"Yes, hello. I'm wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington?" she asks. "My daughter has just left there after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him."
Larry King responds: "In other words, she had a story to tell but out of respect for the person she worked for, she didn't tell it?"
    "That's true," the caller says.
The woman does not mention sexual assault or harassment, nor does she describe in any detail what "problems" she might be referring to. Her daughter's name and Biden are also not mentioned.
In a phone interview with CNN Friday night, Reade told CNN that she is certain the voice in the video belongs to her mother, Jeanette Altimus, who died a few years ago.

Thanks for the tip. Mine was set to 3. I was trying to edit an old draft that the quote box held onto. And I’m guessing the system hides, not deletes, after 3 levels deep. So I literally got lost in the sea of empty boxes.

    1. Why does she respect him if he raped her.
    2. No one has said it's impossible that Biden touched her neck OR even that she left because she felt uncomfortable in some way.
    3. There's no accusation here at all,  even against Biden.  What if Reade was upset with the chief of staff, the head admin,  the janitor? Where in there does anyone accuse Biden of anything that gets close to rape?
