To be fair, I think people were mostly disappointed, but in support. Anyone who had an issue with the statement was because Ed chose to call out the government because of its poor handling of the situation.
I get why they did it from a health prospective and their long history of taking care of their fans. But there's also a part of me that feels they are taking advantage of a situation to support the liberal media's mission to promote fear, bring down the stock market and, in turn, prevent Trump from winning another election. Meanwhile, every other major act is hitting my market (Austin) almost every day this month. Bottom line, the whole thing just blows.

Anyone with experience canceling Airbnb reservation? Just contact the host and request a full refund?
No need to contact host. Just click on your reservation and hit cancel. I just did this morning. But out of respect I contacted the host 2 days ago and said I will most likely cancel and told him why, just so he knew. He said thanks and let him know when or if I do. I got a full refund, but that was part of the rental, I had until march 21 to cancel with full refund. I imagine they will bend some rules if you didnt have free cancelation though, no one wants sick people showing up at their house.
I tried to get a full refund and was pretty much told I was shit out of luck. Too close to the dates and those cities I was going to are still considered low risk. $600 down the toilet. I am going to try one more time this weekend and see if I can push it further.
If you can’t get a refund from airfare I’d still go. Let the owner know to, tell him if you won’t accept a cancelation when entire states are calling for emergencies, then you’ll still go and may as well be sick in someone else’s house rather than your own. That’s total bs to not refund
