The last few weeks I kept telling my wife there was no way this tour would happen. I kept saying they wouldn’t be the first to cancel but they wouldn’t be the last. Well, they were one of the first and it was a good, responsible decision for the health of all involved and not because they were forced too.

    I love this band.
    Right on!

Today really hit me that my Baltimore weekend is dead! But I’m totally behind this band on this issue.

Would love to have them cover Patience, now!
    Ew, gross lol
GNR kicks ass! Could totally see Mike ripping a sweet acoustic solo on that Patience outro
They might as well cover Every Rose Has It's Thorns or Cherry Pie.
    Ick.
GNR are so much better than Poison or Warrant lol!  Dude, Appetite is one of the greatest rock albums ever made.

That song isn't any better than either of those others.  Appetite is the most overrated album that's ever been released.  Still, it's the best hair metal album that was ever made.  The apotheosis of the music era.
Thank the Muses that era died lol
They have more in common with Pearl Jam than any hair bands.

NBA just suspended all play until further notice. Pearl Jam was just a couple of days ahead of everyone else. Not a popular decision at the time but no doubt it was a good move on their part.

I think you may have misunderstood - I am not talking about canceling public events itself being crazy - just the situation as a whole with the virus.  Just like how any other worldwide epidemic could be called rightfully, "crazy"

So there is no absolute truth anymore then, huh? Trust no one because theres nothing left to trust.

I guess this is the real damage done by Trump over the past few years.
Is there? Have you heard it? It’s nearly impossible to dig through the spin.

Most of that  damage has been there long before Trump  and will remain long after.
    HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

This fucking guy has spent FOUR GODDAMN YEARS spewing "Fake News" and "the main stream media is the enemy of the public" to his neanderthal group of zombie moron followers and you think he hasn't poured gasoline over everything and made it 100X worse?

Sometimes I honestly need to ask myself if people have been watching the same thing as I have since this clown was elected.
But he is a genius of himself

January 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. It’s going to be just fine.”

February 2: “We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”

February 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

February 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.”

February 25: “I think that's a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.”

February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”

February 26: “We're going very substantially down, not up.”
February 27: “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”

February 28: “We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements of medical.”

March 2: “You take a solid flu vaccine, you don't think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?”

March 2: “A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they’re happening very rapidly.”

March 4: “If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work, but they get better.” NOTE: The CDC advises people displaying symptoms to stay home and self-quarantine unless seeking medical care.

March 5: “I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work.”

March 5: “The United States… has, as of now, only 129 cases… and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!”

March 6: “I think we’re doing a really good job in this country at keeping it down… a tremendous job at keeping it down.”
March 6: “Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They’re there. And the tests are beautiful…. the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good.”

March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it… Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”

March 6: “I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn't our fault.”

March 8: “We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus.”

Current status: As of noon March 8, 2020, coronavirus is in 30 states plus the District of Columbia. Known U.S. cases exceed 400. The death toll stands at 19.

March 9: “This blindsided the world.”

Thank you @JP218404 - given the events of today, I thought it appropriate to bump this post.

And to think Coronavirus will be the buffoons reason to axe Pence strictly to add a female as a running mate. Insanity I tell ya!

NOLA Pelicans refused to take the court after the season was suspended.  Was supposed to be the last game of the season until further notice. One of the scheduled refs had just reffed a Utah Jazz game in which the sick players took part in. Good move.

Yeah, this has grown really quickly after pj postponed. MLS and ALL large gatherings even golf, that so far has resisted, will be played, at best, with no crowds.
