1/2 for me. Much prefer DOTC. Superblood sounds like a b-side. I hope it grows on me. There’s something about the sound of the guitars on much of BS and LB that just sound so bland, and that’s what I get from this song.

I definitely like parts of it and that solo is fire. It does seem like this is in the same vein as many of the punk-y rockers from the last few albums which have been very hit or miss for me. Will take some listening to before I make a call on if this one is more hit or more miss.

DOTC is great.   This one is gonna be the typical front of album fast song that does the job it is intended to do, just not as well as Hail, Hail or Brain of J (Severed Hand and Life Wasted even).

Wasn’t sure what I was hearing at first. I realized my brain was searching for a formula. This song doesn’t really follow one and for that I appreciate it, especially after the last couple records that were a little more formulaic. So far, both of these songs seem to just exist entirely as they want to, no forcing them into a box of some kind of song Pearl Jam thinks they should be. Bravo.
