So how does this work? Sorry if this has been discussed already.

I sold tickets on F2F. The buyer now asks for a refund which they get. I assume my CC is now going to be charged and they get refunded.

Do I get the tickets back as my own and can I use them?
Do I get an email telling me that this happened or do I just need to keep checking my CC statement
Am I able to put them back onto F2F or do I just have an option for a refund?

I have not seen option for refund of F2F tickets...

Not sure why TM wouldn't just refund the buyer directly.

That would effectively be TM buying them back from the person and then holding them for a potential sale later. TM already made their money on the initial sale.  If the original buyer lists and sells them on F2F then TM is just a broker passing money from person B to person A.  They cannot refund F2F tickets unless they are buying them back.  They cannot force the original seller to pay for the 2nd sale by just taking $$ from the original seller.
I thought that is why we had to put our CC info in though so the buyer on the F2F market could get refunded.
I think thats so YOU get paid when the F2F buyer buys your tickets.
No that is why we put our bank info in. My CC had to be put in so the buyer could get a refund in a case like this. Multiple people on Facebook have said that they are getting charges on their CC the last couple of days and are unsure why and I just figured it was because the person that bought the ticket on F2F was getting a refund.

Well, Broadway shows are all suspended through mid-April. I bet movie theaters will be next to go.

Sorry, but I have to correct you on this... they are postponed, not canceled. It's driving me crazy as there is a big difference.

Well, even if PJ didn't postpone their shows in Canada, they wouldn't have happened anyway, as of today.

All this news is so depressing. Just found out a friend of mine is in self quarantine because a co-worker tested positive. I just want to go back to F5'ing and looking forward to these shows.

Stay Safe everyone, hope to see you all once things are back on.

I saw Ohio's were closed for 3 weeks. Nothing canceled here yet. Spring break in 3 weeks, so guessing the next 2 weeks will get canned.

I'd count on it. Same here in the states. My guess all will close, or do online learning (my son's middle school is set up for that) for 3 weeks.

I just spend the past 2 hours setting up the midterm exam I had scheduled to give tomorrow for online. I think the students were hoping I would cancel it. But nope. Unlike the PJ concert, this midterm is on!!!

Just got an email saying the buyer of one of my sets of sold F2F tickets has requested a refund. Tickets are back in my account, and I was recharged, I guess I knew that would be the case cause I read the fine print before listing but what a mess... Now have 7 tickets for LA1, 3 for LA2, 3 for SD, and 2 for AZ in my account. 4 more PJ sold that I'm hoping dont get refunded.  Also have Rolling Stones, Rage Against the Machine, MB20/Wallflowers, and Hamilton the musical in there. And thats just ticketmaster... have Foo Fighters on stubhub and the Ohana bands I just ordered... I'm sitting on a mountain of tickets and have no idea if or when any of these shows are gonna happen. So depressing.

I have no doubt you will be able to resell those tickets when the new dates are announced. It just sucks that you are out that money until that happens. I guess you can request a refund from TM for some of them as well if you want to.

Interesting. Guess that disproves our theory that TM was buying back F2F tickets ...

Well now we know how that works, which set came back... Mine were all fairly good seats.. I would imagine all those upper behinds are refunding. If any of mine come back, ill send them back to TM for refund. I sold 6 sets and so far no refunds.. The longer this drags on the more likely refunds will happen.

Maybe not.. did the buyer of Korn's tickets put them for sale or request refund.. Two different things i think... I see posts that people say they list tickets and they get sold... To whom? there is no listing pages that are active.. I had one page up for OAK in my browser a few days back and i hit the best seats button and some came up. I tried to buy and got an error.

Did they show as no longer sold on your Ticketmaster account? I sold 3 pairs of STL during the F2F. I will just get refunds for them if the people who bought them ask for a refund from Ticketmaster . One pair is in sec 111 so I imagine the person might keep those. The other 2 pairs are in the 300’ so who knows about those.

Fair - (although the tournaments are cancelled).  Point being, we are in for at least a month or more of severe social and economic impact from this.  I understand the decison to postpone/cancel is necessary right now, but this will have significant ripple effects to the world economy for the next 18 months.  A lot of smaller companies will end up laying off people, etc.  No real point to make other than how amazingly fast this has escalated and how fragile our global economy can be.
agree %100.... In nyc every venue that holds more than 500 people is shut down!!! That is so many jobs!!! its crazy...Makes me think of the book the stand. shit gets real, real quick.

The one that came back were an LA1 104 pair. They were actually one of my 10c lottery wins that I upgraded.
