This is a completely random side effect, but at MSG in 2016 I blatantly saw people skip the entire merch line by saying they needed to go to will call to pick up their 10C tickets, walk through security, grab their tickets, walk over to the to the merch stands in the inner concourse, buy their stuff without waiting on line at all and walk right out.
Holy shit. I definitely did this. I had no idea there was a merch line. Went in and grabbed my tickets then noticed the stand was open and selling stuff.
If they continue at a pace of one show every 4 hours ,maybe, this is going to be excruciating.

I don't think it's unreasonable to be annoyed by the lack of information re: GA v. reserved. I'm just curious if anyone has a reasonable explanation for NOT sending that info? I'm seeing the "TM is nefarious" theories (which I wouldn't dismiss entirely), but one of two things must be true: 1) They don't yet know who got GA and who got reserved. Why/how would that be the case? or, 2) They do know, but have chosen not to provide that information now. Why would that be the case?
1) that is definitely not the case 2) I think it's specifically to discourage people from playing the ticket trading/upgrading game. You Get What You Get, And You Don't Get Upset.
A reasonable guess, though "you don't get upset" is perhaps not within their control. I also wonder how much of an effect it will have on trading/upgrading. Will NOT knowing make people less likely to buy different tickets via the VF sale (because that's the only significant even that happens before our seats are revealed)?

Does anyone think that the number that came with the tour announcement is your adjusted seniority number? I ask because my Ten club number is 76XXX and my number for applying for the lottery was 4 digits. My wife's number is in the 600XXX range and her lottery number was around 400XXX. I think that this would make it easy for Ticketmaster to apply seniority. The lower the number the better the tickets.
I think that I may have have read this discussion in another thread but I lost it in all the forum activity.
I think your number probably did rank your seniority...I think they may have been randomly generated but in order of 10 club number (my 10C is 70XXX ad I had 4 digits also, fairly low 4 digits)
Agree with the trend here:
Ten club member number 92,XXX Ticketmaster code 2,XXX.
Interesting. My 10C# is 61XXX and I had a 3 digit code which I thought was a little strange.
You people are all nuts lol my number is 3425xxxx my code was 2xx lol
Jose, it’s Scott. I haven’t seen you since Brooklyn 2013. What’s up!!!??? I know you gonna be at the garden. See you at the pre-party!
Damn a blast from the past how are you Scott , I put in for Baltimore as my number 1 and MSG as my number 2 , reserved seating only .. are you doing any others besides MSG

10c member 499xxx, code was 84xxx - a number that matches the user name I can't seem to change here which tells me it may have been my original lapsed number from like 2001, but I have no idea.

Sooooo.......I had initially planned on going to Quebec. I put in for reserved. Then, my wife changed plans on me and we scrapped that trip. So, I went back into the 10C/TM page and entered for NY instead. I guess I just kept reading how if you go in and make new selections, the system will just take your most recent selection. Not realizing that I had to cancel out of what I didn't want. Busy week on top of my own stupidity.......D'oh. I'm such an idiot.
TL;DR....I'll have a pair of reserved for Quebec (fanclub # 198xxx) Not sure that I can actually sell to an individual person, but if so, they should be decent seats.

You can't sell to an individual person but those should get snapped up on the exchange

Ah thanks for sharing, could be a US/Canada thing. I.e. your NY entry would have overwritten any previous US entries but not your Canada entry. At least you should be able to be made whole via the “exchange”.
