    Biden/Kasich 2020!
Now that's a ticket that would excite the base!

I have a ton of respect for generally moderate economic policies of Kasich and his clear moral center.  However he is stridently anti abortion so that ticket could never work on that issue alone.

so is biden, but they both respect that it is legal.

The bill dewine signed in ohio after he was sworn was vetoed by kasich before he left office.

So Kasich subscribes to the old Clinton axiom of "safe but rare"?  If that's the case,  then I like him even more now.

he was also onboard with medicaid expansion for ohio.

Not sure if BP is around right now, so will try to do his excellent thesis justice. Abortion should be

    Safe
    Accessible
    Affordable
    Legal

Sounds like a commie to me.

I don't mind Kasich, but I don't believe he's going to help anyone win an election in this political climate.

It's been pointed out to me by a fellow forum member here (for which I am grateful, thanks!) that Bernie Sanders has been shunned by the press lately.  December was a very busy time for me, so that might account for my not having noticed this, but now with this head up, I have to wonder what is up with that?  The Hill posted a good article that talks about this.  Media bias- something to think about:

The irony of the media covering Bernie's complaints of no media coverage.

His team is in perpetual victim mode.  The reality is that his rise coincides with Warren's retreat in the polls.  Just like his fall was connected with her rise.

But I thought we were “voting blue no matter who” or whatever bullshit nursery rhyme y’all are drilling into your/everyone’s heads.

Maybe some volunteers can wait outside the polls and reward blue voters with Scooby snacks as they exit.

I would argue voting blue is the only grown up thing to do.

Some adults believe that they will never have their perfect candidate so they do the right thing and not be a baby about it because they don't want to have 4 more years of the worst president in modern history.

Adults lining up to do the right thing, the grown-up thing, and vote for a candidate who likely wears diapers.

    I can't wait.
