I'd like to see the Mayor and some of those Senators (and Hunter's dad, for that matter) yield some of their collective time to Cory Booker and Julian Castro tonight.

    Tulsi not so much.
"Hunter's dad"?  What a strange way to name the VP.  And why would they do such a thing?
Where will Cory Booker, Julian Castro (and Tulsi Gabbard) be tonight? Maybe watching the new Star Wars movie or something?

Anyway, enjoy your white people (and Yang).
Thanks!  I enjoy people who earn the votes based on the rules established at the beginning.  I don't understand why you hate white people.  That's a really bizarre statement.
More like a really bizarre inference. I don't hate anybody.

And I didn't even have to be raised a Catholic to feel that way.

Fairness.  Better than.  Coalition building.  Inclusiveness.  More ideas.   I would.

I almost left him out completely, the VEEP.   I'm still creeped out the finger suck.
I did leave out Tommy Steyer.  He's been so busy inventing (and perfecting) activism over the past 10 years, I don't know how he finds time to even run.

Got it.  So if interviewing for a job, you'd give up some of your time with the hiring manager(s) in order to give the other candidates a better chance, even if you scored better on the tests, did better on the previous interviews etc.  I think of those things as polls, fundraising and the other requirements to be on the stage.

  • I'm surprised Klobachar is still out there. She has no chance at the nomination but I kinda like her as a possible running-mate for Biden.

I live in MN and I hadn't really heard much of her until she started running.  She's growing on me and I think underestimated.

I only know her from this video. And that might be enough to garner a vote from me in this hypothetical if not for Ihan as her running mate.

Surprisingly few responses here on the Democratic Debate thread regarding  the actual Democratic Debate that happened today.

I thought Buttigieg did well as did Andrew Yang.  I like those two.
Klobuchar sounded good but she had no cause to dis Buttigeig.  She might gain some votes with her name resonating "Clobber" a bit (yes, some voters are that stupid.)
Sanders and Biden waved their canes at each other (I can't remember who came up with that one- funny as hell!- please take credit for it if you read this).
Warren blew it for me by bitching about Pete's fund raising in a wine cave.  Why the hell not, Liz?  She has a net wroth WAY more than his.   Bad move, baby.
Tom Steyer was just plain scary and needs to be in a Steven King movie.

I'm going with Buttigieg, then Yang

Watched part of the debate.  It was interesting to see them go after each other and have the time to do it and respond.

Pete took some hits.  Was successful fighting back mostly.
Amy is a solid candidate.  Makes too much sense though for the Dems to nominate her
Joe - dude has the blackest eyes, all pupil.  He had some great, human, funny responses to age questions.  Solid performance.
Warren - she is what I knew she was.  Her attack on Pete's wine cave I think will hurt Pete, but his comeback was way more impactful.
Bernie - I'm very tired of this man and his blame game.
Andrew - solid performance.  Not a politician really and it helps.
Anyone else?  Don't remember them ;)

I do think Andrew brings some good to the debate, but I don't feel he has a shot.  I'd prefer he moderate a future debate than participate.  I wish Pete and Amy could become 1 candidate, and Warren/Sanders could become 1 candidate.  a 3 way race between the Pete/Amy Cyborg, Biden, and the far left cyborg would be interesting.

Fundraising is the weakest of metrics to judge inclusion in the Tom Perez debate show  Money should be out of politics.

I like Andrew Yang.  He gonna make a great cabinet member OR VP.

This seems to be about right.  I am tired of the 'billionaire' attacks by Warren, even though she is definitely a 1%er herself.  This was Pete's first night on the hot seat and he seems to have acquitted himself well.  He seems to be prepared for all attacks and that speaks well to the way he approaches everything.  I like him, and have since the start.

People call Trump "Teflon Don" but you can start applying that to Biden too.  His support seems rock solid.  He may shed or gain a few points here and there, but his floor is pretty locked down. His ceiling is interesting and we'll know soon.

Also interesting that M4A seems to be DOA.  Did Warren even talk about it?  I think Bernie did, but it certainly wasn't a focus of the debate like it was when Warren took her shots.  She did not do as well with that as Pete.

Almost, but there's a distinct lack of puck and NO REPLACEMENTS or DINOSAUR JR!  How can I vote for someone who isn't a 'Mats or Dino fan?

Ah, but there is this, to which this one time I must subscribe to:
