I’m very concerned about Bidens electability. He’s struggling with money, he can’t barely get out a coherent sentence, and I know people like to make fun of crowd sizes or whatever, but he’s not a big draw on the campaign trail. I actually think crowd size is a good indicator of enthusiasm. I often think about what candidate would create the most enthusiasm, or be a big draw at rallies in the general election, and the candidates I think would generate most enthusiasm are Bernie, Warren, or Pete. Think about the crowd sizes Trump pulls in for a rally, and compare that with Hillary or Biden.

interesting facts(according to wiki) about bloomberg....

He was never a republican when in office here in NY, everybody knew that.

I do like Bloomberg and why can't we have another billionaire in office?

    Three cheers for the billionaires!

The Biden "No Malarkey Tour" slogan needs to be thrown into a dumpster and buried in a landfill ASAP.  Who is in charge of things in this campaign?  Weed is a gateway drug?  No Malarkey?  Maybe try giving out some bedazzled campaign fanny packs to the kids to let them know you are hip ...

They really need to get on the trolley.
  • Latest Quinnipiac poll shows Biden leading Democrats at 24% with Pete in at 2nd with 16%! Could this finally earn him more air time at the next debate?

The electoral college is frustrating at times, but is better than direct vote in my opinion, unlless you want politicians only pandering to 2 or 3 large cities and give no regard to the needs of the non city dwellers.  Direct vote would lead to more problems for the country as a whole  than the electoral college’s.  It would be a great argument for splitting up the Republic if whole states were not being represented.

That's what the house is for.

No one person's vote should be worth more than anothers just based on geography.

It is not based off geography, but is based on states. We are a Democratic Republic with multiple states with individual governments and needs, remember?  If we had no actual individual states, then you could use your argument.  All states should be represented.  The House alone does not do a very good job at that alone.
That being said, though, if California alone (do to population density) decided elections by direct vote, what is to keep politicians from ignoring the financial needs (such as disaster relief, etc) and dumping all federal funding into CA?  Who needs hurricane relief when we only need votes from CA ?  I didn’t say the Democratic Republic model is perfect, but it is better than Direct Democracy.

Agreed. And let Texans and Floridians and South Carolinians and the rest of 'em keep massacring each other and their children.

I see no need for federal funds to help them out anymore. Waste of fucking money.

Is Liz saying she's against it only,  or did she actually say she will get it done? If the latter, that's delusional.  How do you get 2/3 of the states' senators or state legislatures vote to reduce their own power?  Granted some will increase in power but not enough to get the votes.

This illustrates why I envy the right.  They're united (they even had an event).  Nobody says "I'll only vote for one candidate in the general otherwise I am sitting out." They all just suck it up and vote for Trump.
