Andrew Yang is the best. The biggest Bernie Bro out there. Will be nice seeing him take a position in Bernies administration.

This is one of the things I like about Yang so very much.  Rather than berate another candidate, he congratulates them.  Smart, positive, hard working, energetic, all around good-guy!

To underscore a point I made before, you'd have to look at his platform and ask yourself if he was your 2nd or 3rd choice out of this bunch if you ranked them

They can cause some good carnage anyways though

Amash? Am I misunderstanding? I applaud his courage but he  denies a woman’s right to manage her own healthcare, he’s  not interested in protecting the environment and would rather see tax cuts than helping the poor and homeless.

I don’t see how he would not be last in any democratic primary.

I m wondering if Pete could take surrounding states like Kentucky or Ohio.  Could he even take Indiana or could this be another al gore?

He is south bend, which is more in tune to Chicago than the rest of Indiana.  I don't think he could take Indiana.

Ironically based on the iowa caucuses, his supporters don’t agree with him. It appeared the majority were going elsewhere when he wasn’t viable. Of course, could be wrong but that what I saw and heard. But with how iowa is going....who knows if accurate.

Wait a minute here. You mean to say that a Massachusetts liberal's campaign staff has a bunch of closeted racists in the mix. :open_mouth:

I would like to think he would win his home state. But I would also like to think his home state wouldn't have voted for (Pence and others like him before and after). As stated, NW Indiana is blue, but that doesn't impact the majority enough.

Maybe some time in the distant future, but right now, there is an unshakable core and a cult-like following for the orange buffoon.

•Pence did his own part to hold back the GLBTQ community prior to going to DC.
•Indiana JUST legalized the selling of alcohol on Sundays.
•I don't partake in weed, but am not opposed to its legalization. Not an iota of momentum towards legalizing it here.

So Indianapolis isn’t apart of the “Chicago” area in terms of voting.  Is most of Indiana rural?  I ve only traveled the northern part.

What do you mean? Chicago and Indy are three hours apart.  Are you thinking of Gary?

I think probably in the city,  but the suburbs are likely more red than in other states.  I don't know if there is a red city in the country today.  Even SLC has a democratic mayor.

    Bernie declares "decisive" victory?

At this point it doesn't matter since the pledged delegates are proportional anyway.   Although it might make a difference id there's a brokered convention.  If anyone knows the Iowa Democratic rules,  I'd be interested to hear if they're obligated in that scenario.

Are those old videos? If you are going to post old videos it would be helpful to include the date. Pete’s comment is from 2017. I’m assuming Bloomberg is the same.

Context is everything. Back in 2016/17 democrats significantly underestimated Trumps impact and loyalty among his base. And since then, trump has solidified his hold over conservatives and right leaning moderates. Back then, many thought  Never Trumpers would be a real thing in the gop. Now they only exist on TV, not IRL. Also since then, Sanders has been tagged a socialist which is a dirty word in the states. Back then, he did have a chance to sneak in, especially having Obama as a leftist president with the bully pulpit.

Bloomberg is smart, and supports what would be by far the most progressive healthcare plan in the history of the US. Bloomberg has opened up full time campaign offices and hired full time staff that will stay open until November whether he wins the nomination or not. THAT is a smart team player. Meanwhile, Bernie lost half his IA voters from last time. If this was a Bernie revolution, why would he lose supporters, even if there are more candidates?

    “Obama...a leftist.” That’s rich.

I’d have more faith in them if there had been a QueersAgainstTrump organization and mobilization drive. Seems more like a Putin on the ritz troll farm operation than a legit politic organization. They registered as a 501c3?

Did you hear all of Team Trump Treason’s comments about all the hot body, good looking dudes who supported him throughout impeachment? I mean it really bordered on getting sexual, breathless as he was in his descriptions. Maybe he should just come out? NTTIAWWT. He’d still be POTUS and first is better than third. And some think Biden is creepy?
