I hope the radius clause isn't too large. Would hate for this show to eliminate possible shows in much overdue cities like Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Columbus etc...

for what its worth... a concert promoter told me PJ and Phish will be playing Woodstock. Dont know how reliable my source is.
Did he say which Woodstock?

Phish just announced a summer tour. Massive gap in their dates that leaves Woodstock open as well as other late summer fests in the midwest including Summerfest. They are also playing Alpine Valley x3.

I went to both Woodstock 94 and 99. 99 was a clusterfuck compared to 99, but the music was still great. I got to see a lot of great acts. I’ll always remember Blind Melon and Nine Inch Nails in 94 and The Tragically Hip in 99. I have great memories from both. I plan on going to Woodstock whether Pearl Jam plays or not.

To keep with the Jurrassic Park theme:
Summerfest in Milwaukee is June 26-30 & July 2-7, Phish won't be there.
I find it unlikely they will play Woodstock. They are more likely to put on their own festival, and given the unfortunate scenario of their last trip to Watkins Glen, I would find it further unlikely they would go back there this year.
Only bands I've heard floated for Watkins Woodstock were Twenty One Pilots, Beyonce, Childish Gambino, and Billie Ellish. My daughter was at a party with Lang's son Harry over the holidays and that's all she could remember him saying were IN. No PJ or she would have certainly mentioned.....
If PJ guaranteed they were going to do something like Mansfield Night 3 2003, Gorge 2005, or Santa Barbara 2006 I would try to get into Woodstock (yes, I will whore out my soul for a cool semi acoustic opening set or encore 1, every one has their price, that is mine to go to a festival, in Mid August, in Central NY and get gauged for water)

competing fest in watkins glen same weekend
There will be a much smaller event at the amphitheater in Bethel.
"The event will be held over three days — Aug. 16 to 18 — on a 1,000-acre green space in Watkins Glen in upstate New York, near the Finger Lakes."

To keep with the Jurrassic Park theme:
Simply because its 20 minutes from my house.
And I would only go if PJ was playing. Maybe 1-2 other headliners.
And I wouldnt come early, I would get there right before PJ takes the stage and find a seat WAAAAY on the side so I didnt have to deal with the crowd.
