what?  do woodstock?  Like the other ones?

They seem to like to have a good amount of 'control' over what they play and where.  I'm not sure they have a lot of clout over such a monster gig as Woodstock.  Safety is also a concern there, especially after the events in 1999, and I would think Pearl Jam would keep their distance from the risk.

Remember when they were rumored to do Woodstock 1994? If they band said no to Woodstock's 25th anni, doubt they will do Woodstock's 50th anni. But, you never know now. Band is loving festivals & big venue shows these day's.

Very different mind set these days. Plus they didn't have a drummer in aug 1994

    True.

Woodstock 1994 was August 12th - 14th. Last PJ show with Dave was NYC April '17th. Though the weeks prior to Woodstock 2, Spin, Rolling Stone & Hit Paradar etc... were posting rumors that PJ would play. Dave was fired last week of August? https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/pearl-jam-fires-drummer-dave-abbruzzese-182467/ . So they so could of had PJ on the card. :P

If PJ and the Foos headline it will already be 10000x better than Coachella.

‘94 wouldve been cool.  Watched PPV all weekend.  Great lineup.

I think it would be a fun time.  Don’t let 94 and 99 scare you. Festivals are very organized nowadays. Unless, you don’t like festivals at all...

I’ll always try to see PJ if they’re a close car ride away (plus I probably have a place to stay already locked up).

Agreed. I don't see why they wouldn't. I think they'd jump at the chance.
I can't figure out why anyone would want to attend such a show - it looks like fucking hell on Earth to me - but obviously there are plenty of people willing to do it!

Bonnaroo lineup is being announced on Tuesday, Jan 8th.  That could be a possible indicator as well of doing the Woodstock show.

Yep. This not anymore corporate than Lollapalooza, Coachella, ACL.   They’re all sponsored by Fortune 500 companies who contribute to any cause they feel like.

We live in NY where we get to see bands in relatively small venues all the time.  I'm enjoying more of that than big time festivals now.

I'd go more for the side stages than the main stage for something like this.

Apparently the Woodstock 50th anniversary event is different from the Bethel Woods Music and Cultural Festival.

Tweet from November also mentioned that the artist listed were the type they would be approaching and not confirmed or rumored artists.

I would actually be into doing this as long as it’s part of a bigger tour this year.  I’d be disappointed if this was the only show they do on the east coast but I would still probably go.
