there's an owl's next across my back lane in my neighbour's yard, at the very top of the tree, about 75 feet up. I once heard him hooting one evening. I went out and could see his eyes. Only time I've ever seen/heard him. Very cool. Love owls.

Now I have to make sure it gets back to the pond safely after she lays eggs. Just got off a 12 hr overnight shift. What's a few more hours. Would hate to see a car run over it.
Nice job! She looks big! Found this guy in my neighborhood, he surprised me and I nearly ran over him. I stopped the car to go grab him. Delivered him down to the forest area near our neighborhood pool. Plenty of trees and running water.
Nice work! I don't see too many box turtles like that.
Next time, the experts recommend to just move it to a safe spot in the direction it is heading. Once I moved a turtle off my lawn to a pond up the road from me. The next day, it came all the way back!
It was on a mission to lay eggs here.
So they seem pretty attached to certain areas.
I hope this sucker finishes up soon!
