I didn't vote for him but I definitely don't think he's as bad as everyone makes him out to be.
Really damn dude he's way worse than anything i expected ...
How? What is surprising that he has done that he didn’t indicate while running for office?

Given his bizarre behavior, he seems a little more exposed to being primaried than any other incumbent in our lifetime.  Of course the GOP, both in Washington and the general public, seems to have his back to the point that I am doubting that.  Unless we see a lot more momentum of Republicans who want to move on from this circus, I don't see it happening.  Who knows, though; maybe a couple more years of this nonsense could create a critical mass.

Years and years of anti-clinton propaganda paid off

People openly state they HATE Hillary, but usually can't explain why they have such strong feelings against her. I find that interesting

I think a better question would be "Knowing what you know now, would you still have supported Hillary?"

She's a hypocrite and just a horrible person in my opinion.  Like many democrats she pandered to the minorities to get votes and yet does nothing for them.  Most of the worse cities in America are ran by Democrats.  She claimed to stand for women's rights, women's lib, and feminism yet stood by her husband during all his shit and ridiculed and insulted his accusers.  She defended a rapist when she was a lawyer and there's tape of her laughing about successfully defending him in court.

God forbid a lawyer do what they went to school for and are paid to do. Hope you never need an attorney, for whatever the issue is. How do you explain Team Trump Treason's attorney negotiating and agreeing to a settlement without his client's knowledge? If you believe Team Trump Treason didn't know about the settlement or that it had already been arbitrated? Care to list the worst cities run by democrats?

And I could go through each sentence and essentially debunk what you’re saying or put it up against trump’s personality or position on things and there’s no objective way to say trump is better. And what does Clinton have to do with the status of any city?

Trump's approval rating still sits at something like 38%.  I don't know how many people that is but it has to be in the millions, right?  Now stop and think about that:  Millions of people still support Trump.  Can you think of anything more bizarre?

Yes, you can easily make the same or similar arguments against Trump.  They were both horrible candidates and as I said earlier I wish I hadn't voted for either but I made a choice and voted for Trump.  I think Trump and Hillary have more similarities to each other than differences and if Hillary wasn't a women I don't think she would of had any where near the support she got.

I try not to think about it for too long of a stretch. The number that’s even worse is that 6 out of 10 of his supporters said they will support him no matter what he does! That’s about 20% of the country. I know people hate the fascism reference, but that 20% number is how that shit happens.

You really think so?  That's another interesting side discussion on this topic.  I think a lot of her support was from people enamored withe the idea of a women president.  Just like Obama getting the black vote from black's who rarely or never voted before.

You said you "despised" Hillary and that "she's a horrible person... strong words... and backed it up by saying she's a fake feminist essentially... her husband cheated on her... and that she takes minority votes for granted... while at the same time you voted for the guy who grabs them by the kitty cat and is a world class sexist POS, including towards his own daughter, and based his entire campaign on racism and xenophobia...

The propaganda worked... because your argument is totally bunk my friend... it sounds like you have no idea why you "despise" her and think she's a "horrible person"

Obviously, I didn't support Team Trump Treason but I also knew that as soon as he announced, he was in way over his head. Personally, I think he ran because of the Obama jokes at the Press Club Dinner and because his empire was failing and failing miserably. Think about it, he never released his tax returns, which may have lead to discovery of how leaveraged he is, his "University" was an abject failing and The Apprentice was in the dumps for ratings. What better way to drum up business at your properties and polish your brand than by running for president? And even after he won, as disappointed as I was, I felt the same way as I did with Bush, okay, its the presidency, he'll settle in and do an okay job, not to my liking but its the presidency, he has to take it seriously. Nope. Nope. In way over his head, uncouth with the  educated political class, crass, disgusting, unaware of how compromise, negotiation and manners play in diplomacy, whether with the Congress or world leaders, unaware of the alliances and the history and basically treating every interaction as a zero sum game where he has to win or else, he'll change his mind to claim victory (South Korea doesn't have a US ambassador nor has one been forwared to the senate for consideration. I also believe he'll be impeached and when the early reporting came out about Russian collusion, and if you followed his career since the 80s and read a wide range of reporting about him, it wouldn't have come as a surprise. The midterm elections will be the key to whether he is impeached or not.

I think more depends on Team Mueller's report. If that comes out really, really damning, as I suspect it will, regardless of who holds the house, they will have to vote for impeachment. Failure to do so will forever stain the institution, the white house and the republican party. That said, I think the dems take control, based upon Team Mueller's report, initiate impeachment and the senate, regardless, will have to convict because of the overwhelming evidence of law breaking by Team Trump Treason before, during and after the campaign and when he took the oath of office.

Haha, that dude was just told by a judge that he has to hand over that Wu Tang Clan album - he isn't allowed to keep it or sell it because of his crimes.
Yeah I saw that he was being forced to hand it back. That was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in recent years. Even before the thing was bought by him like, the very idea of the Wu Tang Clan making one copy of this record and selling it to the highest bidder is just crazy.

The Hillary Clinton excuse used to defend a vote for Trump is a cop out. There were more than two options on every ballot cast in that election. You had other choices. You chose to vote for Trump.

I have never cast a single vote for Hillary Clinton. Not in a primary and not in a general election. Yet I found a way to not vote for Donald Trump. Your vote for Trump is not Hillary Clinton's fault.

I don't how people voted for Trump and are now surprised he's a bafoon of a POTUS... after that campaign? Mexicans are rapists!

He's Donald fucking Trump, he's been a clown my entire life... 10 years ago I would have bent over laughing if you said he would be POTUS. This shit is unreal. I agree with an earlier point, America has some big problems.

I didn't realise some would be offended by asking a relevant question, but glad some decided to answer.
I didn't mean would you vote for her over Trump, but more what you said the second time. Any other DNC candidate would have beaten him, probably literally anyone. So would you have dumped your support for her 2 years ago knowing she wouldn't beat Trump.
Feel free not to answer if asking this in this threads seems upsetting to anyone. I mean, people were already discussing Hilary here (and still are), not sure why question was so upsetting to be the only one to be singled out to warrant a new thread.

FWIW, feminists are actually allowed to forgive their husbands for straying. I wouldn't forgive mine for it personally, but that's not because of anything related to my feelings about female equality.
