Thanks. I know I’ll find one eventually, I just want it sooner rather than later hahamca47 said:
Haven't seen one yet. They are usually pretty easy to come by, but nothing so far. I really dig their finishing series releases!SVRDhand13 said:Anyone able to find Makers FAE-02 yet? FAE-01 and the rest of the wood finishing series has been excellent so far.
I'm also waiting on ECBP C921. Heard they should be trickling in soon.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I haven't seen FAE-02 yet either. My local spot still has a few cases of FAE-01 sitting around for $55. Haven't tried it yet. You guys think it's worth grabbing a bottle?0

FAE-01 for $55 is def worth it!exploderball said:I haven't seen FAE-02 yet either. My local spot still has a few cases of FAE-01 sitting around for $55. Haven't tried it yet. You guys think it's worth grabbing a bottle?0 -
That’s one of my favorite bottles. $55 is fair. I’d recommend it even at $70.exploderball said:I haven't seen FAE-02 yet either. My local spot still has a few cases of FAE-01 sitting around for $55. Mike, I doubt this is the case, but if it is one of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottles then rush back there and buy it. I don't think they've hit shelves yet, but it would not say Buffalo Trace on the bottle. It would be Thomas H. Handy, William Larue Weller or Eagle Rare 17 (all Buffalo Trace Antique). If it is just a regular BT bottle, tell that dude he is high and it's a $30 bottle. LOLmcgruff10 said:I don’t know if it was a type but my local place had Buffalo trace at $112 a bottle! I will pay you $100 if you can find a William LaRue Weller Antique bottle for cost.
This is one bottle I really want. Slim chance I know as if any of you fine people find it for that you'd most likely want to drink it...
But oh well. I will look.0 -
Yeah, we need more info! hahaha If it's a BTAC, but I really doubt it was....get in the car and head back there.bbiggs said:

Reg Buffalo Trace shouldn't be more than $30. It's in the mid-$20s here and can be found at every grocery store. It's a good bottle at retail.
If it's a store pick, then maybe $40-50.0 -
It looked like a regular bottle fo buffalo trace. who knows.bbiggs said:

That's what I mean. Something doesn't add up here. Buffalo Trace doesn't sell at prices above retail so I'm curious what it was for $112.mca47 said:

Buying myself a nice bottle for a nice work accomplishment. Thoughts? Thinking Bushmills 210

A laphoraig 25 would be my ultimate splurge but I don’t think you can go wrong with your choice. What about a macallan 21? Pretty similar in price.Cliffy6745 said:Buying myself a nice bottle for a nice work accomplishment. Thoughts? Thinking Bushmills 21I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
Bushmills doesn’t look to be available in PA so those are a good call. The laphroaig is enticing and this may be the occasion. I do love laphroaig, as has been documented heremcgruff10 said:

Picked these up yesterday. Never tried 'em before. MSRP is really high for these bottles; $170/rye and $155/bourbon. I sure hope they're worth it...

Very nice- enjoy! Never noticed these bottles had that much wax on top.exploderball said:Picked these up yesterday. Never tried 'em before. MSRP is really high for these bottles; $170/rye and $155/bourbon. I sure hope they're worth it...

They’re both delicious in my opinion. Single barrels so there could be some variance, but I’ve had multiple years and enjoyed them all. I also think they’re overpriced, but worth the splurge nonetheless.exploderball said:Picked these up yesterday. Never tried 'em before.
