I say we just absolutely monsoon their customer service with complaints at the exact same time. That’ll send a resonating message.
That might work although would that possibly mean someone working for 10C just trying to make a living be taking a lot of flack for a problem they didn't create? (Not sure, just asking.)

Another idea might me to just keep this thread going.  Hopefully, sooner or later someone in 10C who cares will get on it.

I suggested this previously but no one was interested. I think if they came back from the holidays to several thousand emails all saying the same they would be fools not to take notice. For all those speculating what the single will be, we already know its Cant Deny Me.
Now that would be a good idea, and also this would be the perfect time for doing it: they will return from vacation and find thousands and thousands of complaining emails all with the same message. I'm in, for what it's worth. Just post here the text to be sent, and let's see how many people adhere.
I'm not the best at writing a balanced email to 10c because at this stage I'm too angry about this. Can we have a volunteer who can word this. We all need to use the same subject, same address to send it to and the identical content.  Volunteers? Then post here once you send the email so we can track the number of emails they might get. It also might get more member attention if we start a new thread.
Again, a good idea but only if we know who to send the email to who can actually do something about this.

Here's another idea, and I'm mostly kidding so maybe not actually do this, but there are so many "Merry Christmas" threads here and on other forum sections that it's beginning to look like this whole place is one big 10 Club Merry Christmas forum.  If there were nothing but "Where's the Christmas Single" threads.... no, please don't do it.  Just kidding, just bumping the thread!

Maybe they’ve driven the business into the fuck pot and they’re too nervous to send an email to the band telling them they wasted all the 10c membership money on falla sheep and six packs of charity beer and they need about 25k to press all the Xmas singles from the last two years.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Anyone have any experience with class action lawsuits? What defines a class and how could we take action via this route?

Hard to say what's up.  And that seems to be the thing I've read here the most, that we have been given zero information on what's up.  Unless I missed something, there isn't a peep being said about this.

Maybe it's just that they're supper busy packing up signed Telecasters as a way to make amends for the delays.  I hope I get the black with white pick guard and bull's eye with arrow.  Sweet!

So much bitterness in this thread.

It's safe to say it's not a new bitterness, it's been an issue that has been building for years. Its got slowly worse. People are now standing up and saying enough is enough. 10c are taking advantage of fans, no other business treats customers like this. The amount of merch that has been pushed this year yet they can't issue a single that was recorded almost a year ago. This is people's hard earned cash that they are holding on to. With Vault 8 going out in January, these probably won't ship until February at the earliest, that means there will be some customers who have paid 25 months in advance for items that haven't been delivered.

Does anybody realise how hard this band has fought for its fans in previous years? The amount they give to us? Who plays as long as they do and charges the amount they do? The amount of generosity and PURE LOVE they have shown us the fans through the gift of live music?

And you all are complaining about some singles of tracks you have probably heard?
Completely separate issue, the length of time they play during shows has absolutely nothing to do with 10c delivering items they have asked fans to pay for. For what it's worth, PJ haven't played in the country I live in since 2001, have every record but never been able to see them play live and I've followed the band since I was in school in 1991.

Pearl Jam playing long show for decent tickets prices  =/= not delivering on something promied that you have a year to get your shit together about and =/= the tenclub being inept in basic communication with their paying costumers.

Stop with the "They gave everything to us including PURE LOVE so how dare you critize anything about how they opeate?!". It's embarrasing.

Shouldn't we be updated on why they can't get a Christmas single done after all the PURE LOVE we have shown them?

I didn't come here to argue. Pearl Jam are the bosses... if there's nothing to put out, there's nothing to put out.

    End of story.

I don't know why people still call it the Christmas Single.. we haven't received it for Christmas for many years now.   Last month I renewed my Ten Club digital membership for $27 Australian dollars.  When it expires next November I'm not going to renew .. I've had it with paying for basically just being allowed to post on a forum.  Pearl Jam don't give a shit about their Australian fans anyway.. the last time they did shows here were at a festival in January 2014.

Technically its an annual single. Granted, there should be one annually. But the onus is on the band. 10c operates on their whims. Shitting on them doesn't accomplish much. If the band can't be bothered to do one, then it is what it is. Blame them.

That being said, the single can't be the sole reason people subscribe. People want tickets. People want merch. if you aren't happy with at least one of those 3 things, then maybe the club isn't for you and you should save your $40. Even if you quit, you'll get your missing single at some point. Just move on.

I'll never get the level of dissatisfaction with the 10c. Yeah, communication can occasionally be bad.  Yep, the single has been late every year since 94. To be fair, us fans do have some unreasonable expectations from time to time.

Sure, you have the right to bitch and moan as a dissatisfied customer. But its kinda shouting into the void at this point though, no?  The 10c usually makes good, even if its late and occasionally poorly communicated. But if you are generally unhappy, just quit.

Its also possible that some fans are in too deep (I'm really fucking sorry for that - I hate shit like that), and maybe they need a step back and realize its a fan club for a 25+ year old rock band and that, at most $5, of your annual fee goes to a 7" record, so decide if its for you or not.

I actually don't feel bitter, just disappointed.  Sort of like when you go to a nice restaurant and think you are ordering a delicious meal and end up with a big check, heartburn and a crushed Tums in your back pocket.  Bummer, not bitter.

That all great and I very much agree.  Not really relevant to the topic, but great anyway.

Can't stand this kins of response. But it always pops up. "Just quit."

Instead of people who think tenclubs communication-skills are subpar having to leave, why can't a tenclub employee or two apply to a "Communication with your fellow people 101" class?
