So i guess the ticketmaster pre-sale is just for people who aren't in the ten club?
You can still sign up for it if you are in the ten club. It's doesn't cost anything and just gives you access to a presale of sorts. They will email/text you a unique code to access the presale. No cost unless you buy tix.
So if I want to go to Fenway and my wife and I both try to get tickets through the lottery, is there a way if we both win to give 2 of the tickets to a friend and still have my wife and I sit together? We are both 10C members and the friend is not. Would we have to "trade" phones and walk to the seats together? Would that work? Trying to figure out how to get all 4 of us in the building and have us each sit with our own spouses.
I was thinking the same thing and could only come up with the same scenario you just described. Unless they print you a paper ticket when your phone is scanned and then you could just swap those paper tickets inside the gates. It could still be done but will require a little more effort than the usual meeting up for a beer before the show and swapping the tickets out.
That is what they do for Ticketmaster paperless, might be the same thing for this. Give you a little paper receipt when your phone is scanned with your seat location.

I have a relatively low # so this doesn't bother me that much but I've always kind of enjoyed the vibe in the GA Pit and thought it was cool that all members had a shot at getting up close to the band. I'm sure there is good reason for it but glad GA Pit is available for my hometown shows in Chicago.
for the record..u guys has ticket buddies..if u both enter lotto...u need to be carefull!! cos if one win ga and ther other wins seated.,,.u cant sell the extra pair!!1 by saying that means,,if u want to go ga u cant sell the extra seated pair,cos u will have it in your phone and cant transfer the p[airm,but only one.. tha means if ticket buddies enter the lotto better choose both only ga or both only seated..

So will they still be verifying that the ticket holder is a TC member? Prior to change, TC member had to be physically present to pick up tickets at will call. Now though, seems cumbersome to check that at the door no?

Looks like the entry period opens on the 7th. You can log in and enter your choices up to the 12th. At that point the lottery is closed and they choose the winners.

I think you could sell one of the seats, which would halve your losses (and maybe make it worth doing?).

You CAN buy the Ticketmaster verified tickets even if you have won Ten Club tickets. They are completely separate from each other. I bought tickets for The National through TM verified and they were emailed to me just like any other Ticketmaster ticket.

The only show I could make is Missoula since it's only a handful of hours above me so i'm really hoping for tickets. The last time they came through MT is was a disappointing day trying to get tickets. Hope everyone gets tickets! I'm wicked excited about these shows!

dimi if thats the case, what if I sell my single and my friend sells his single, but once in the venue my friend and I go to Seated and I walk them to the pit or vice versa?
