Incirlik Air Base has a U.S. Air Force complement of about five thousand airmen, with several hundred airmen from the Royal Air Force and Turkish Air Force also present, as of late 2002. The primary unit stationed at Incirlik Air Base is the 39th Air Base Wing (39 ABW) of the U.S. Air Force. Incirlik Air Base has one 3,048 m (10,000 ft)-long runway,[6][7] located among about 57 hardened aircraft shelters. Tactical nuclear weapons are stored at the base.[8]

I pretty sure the Turkish army has not taken over a staffed USAF base and started pilfering the nuclear weapons.
Shit's mad uncomfortable there for sure but that's what happens when you're "all about our great military being respected around the world..." and you "know more than the generals".

Mike Pence will straighten it all out.

In 2017 he told a reporter, right after his first meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia, that it was his “gut feel” for how to deal with foreign leaders, honed over years in the real estate world, that guided him. “Foreign policy is what I’ll be remembered for,” he said.

I think you have to put all of the pieces together rather than one..

    1. The US is retreating from area held in Turkey
    2. 50 tactical warheads are stored in Turkey
    3. The US is now instilling sanctions on Turkey as Trump threatens to "totally destroy" the Turkish economy
    4. Turkey is being aided by Russia, as Russia has moved into areas vacated by teh US and now "patrolling areas"
    5. Turkey and the US are moving towards colder relationships
    6. Turkish troops will have complete control of the area surrounding the NATO base
    7. Removal of the nukes into US controlled space will require cooperation by the Turks and presumably Russia.  You can't airlift these out like Saigon.
    8. This makes these nukes effectively hostages.

I think you guys are way off base.

big IF are the nukes still there or were they ever.

I have a reliable source in the NATO community. They qualified their answer with yet, but have neither seen nor heard of any movement from Incirlik. And they are in a position to know.

Take a peek at the base location.  We have regular and heavy Navy presence in The Med with the 6th Fleet.....

I don't know if we're way off or not.  But both the NY Times and the Air Force Times (site for AF members) both report that it's well known that there are 50 plus heads there.

Yeah that's way too much posturing, especially for Don Trump.
He has no idea what he's doing.

It sounds like this Fiona Hill testimony was pretty damning yesterday.  It appears that Bolton instructed her to go to White House lawyers with the issue.  Perhaps Bolton will be up on the Hill testifying sooner than later.  He will be quite the wild card.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/14/us/politics/bolton-giuliani-fiona-hill-testimony.html

“I am not part of whatever drug deal Sondland and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Mr. Bolton, a Yale-trained lawyer, told Ms. Hill to tell White House lawyers, according to two people at the deposition. (Another person in the room initially said Mr. Bolton referred to Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Mulvaney, but two others said he cited Mr. Sondland.)

    from the AF Times article,
The presence of nuclear weapons at Incirlik, though never publicly confirmed or denied by the U.S. government, has long been essentially an open secret. It became even less of a secret earlier this year when a Canadian senator published, apparently by accident, a document containing the bases where the United States is keeping nuclear weapons.

umm, I hope this didnt go unpunished......
