    One can hope that trump gets removed and then the Dems win the 2020 election. But I’m concerned how long till the country is back to a little more normalcy.  We can’t be a country of 1 party and the GOP is sinking fast on a national level.

    It’s still the dominant party.  Of course if we’re ever to get back to normal, the GOP is going to have to find its place after being the Party of Trump.  But we may just go on with the PoT as the  dominant party until we’re fucked in whatever way we end up fucked.

    I m trying to play devils advocate but I can’t.  This is mind boggling.  Lots of crazy videos coming out.  The Turkish troops reminds me of the einsatzgruppen.

    If they’re getting worse, good people should shine a spotlight to highlight that gap and how it’s growing as they do. That seems obvious to me. 

    If you want to close that gap and make it hard to tell one shitty side from another, you’ve got a different strategy on how to influence people than I do. Of course that’s valid, but I don’t think it’s productive for the short or long term.

    Yes, thank god it’s fantasy football season. 
    I kind of tuned out for a few days last week and it made me think about some things. Such as, you can’t change people’s minds, and just how many people don’t even consume news or understand nuances of politics. I’m willing to bet that only like 20 to 30% of people know who the Secretary of State is, let alone know he’s a traitor.

    It really makes no sense what so ever. Makes me angry and sad at the same time.  
    Yeah, I’m all for doing what we can as far as drawing down troops and like to consider myself anti-war or whatever, but doesn’t make sense strategically, idk. It’s going to cause more bloodshed, not less. And Trump wants to talk shit about people who “got us into Iraq” or “they’ve been fighting for 200 years”, while sending more troops to our buddies in Saudi Arabia, yeah right. I wonder how many of our vets worked side by side with Kurdish forces at height of Iraq war.
