Them kids out there protesting, aren't doing it to get that space cadet Styx or KISS reunion 8k person concert glow. They got principles. Marchin in the streets is not the same as goosesteppin' through the turnstiles. It's HELLA different. Not like these Trumpito mushroom sniffers. Morons, the lot of them, they cant even sue.

A niece of President Trump will divulge a series of “harrowing and salacious” stories about him in an upcoming book, according to a published report. It would be the first time that the president could be forced to grapple with damaging revelations by a member of his own family.
The niece, Mary Trump, will release the book, “Too Much And Never Enough,” on Aug. 11, less than three weeks before Mr. Trump accepts the Republican nomination for a second term, The Daily Beast reported on Sunday.
The report said that in the book, Ms. Trump, 55, will say she was a primary source for The New York Times’s coverage of Mr. Trump’s finances and provided the newspaper with confidential tax documents. A spokeswoman for The Times declined to comment on Sunday.
As it did four years ago. I guess that may not have been a landslide, but we knew in a hurry. This one’s gonna be the same.

Rural MN seems to still be riding the Trump train. I don't hear or see a difference once I'm outside the major cities in the metro area. This is actually the first time in my life I have heard my parents outright dis democrats and seem to be fully on board with Republicans. Growing up, they sat more in the middle while usually disliking the democrat more. Trump brought out the hate in them I had never seen after Obama left the WH. It's maddening.

He gonna get stomped. His "so called" justices are failing him.
I'm wondering if he is going to tweet about this...I don't even know whether he cares about the issue one way or the other, but he recognizes that his side of the partisan divide lost 6-3, with one of the votes being the nomination that McConnell stole for him. Will he see it as disloyal (an extremely un-American sentiment, but he doesn't know shit about America)?

"If we stop testing right now, we'd have very few cases, actually," the president said during a roundtable event for seniors.
States across the country — particularly in the South and the West — have seen spikes in coronavirus cases as they ease social-distancing measures and begin reopening their economies.

I’m experiencing the same thing with my 70+ year old parents who also live in rural MN. My dad went from organizing his workplace back in the 1980s and campaigning for Paul Wellstone, became politically neutral for a while, to a far-right fanatic spouting off things that are racist and out there. About the only thing we can talk about lately is the weather and doing yard work.
The outstate MN folks completely lost their minds over the protests/riots in MPLS/St Paul. From believing the BLM militia was on the way to hang employees of the local Target store, to acting like the buildings that were burnt were members of a family being attacked. And the removal of the Columbus statue at the Capitol. It was like they murdered jesus. Just pure unchecked rage. I don’t get it.
The way I see outstate MN going for Biden would be: a significant spread of COVID that starts to tax the rural hospitals, unemployment staying high (rural MN is hurting badly from this) combined with no extension to the added unemployment benefit (the only thing keep a lot of rural MN afloat, although they whine about it like a kid who had candy stolen). Those things would severely hurt those out there, but could get some people to open their eyes at how badly theyve been fucked under trump and change some votes. Who knows though, Some folks aren’t very bright.

What's even harder to believe is that this is not the first time he has made this bonheaded statement.
“The more bad things happen in the country, it just solidifies support for Trump,” said Phillip Stephens, GOP chairman in Robeson County, N.C., one of several rural counties in that swing state that shifted from supporting Barack Obama in 2012 to Trump in 2016.

This should be good...

Three journalists from The Times received the Pulitzer Prize for explanatory reporting last year for their work providing an unprecedented look at the Trump family’s finances and contradicting Mr. Trump’s image of a self-made billionaire.

Landslide is not probable, but it's more likely in Biden's favor than Trump's.
