    I love him tweeting about a 96% approval rating with republicans.

    Republicans make up 29% of registered voters.  So that's about 28% of the country that approves.  Not even a 300 hitter.

    According to gallup its actually 85%. 11% drop from 6 months ago.

    There’s too many elections in the US, dontcha know? Many, many people have told Team Trump Treason that there’s too many elections and that 4 year terms are too short. In fact, many very fine smart people have told him that terms for POTUS should be 8, 16 even 24 years and that it would be a beautiful thing, a very beautiful thing if they were elongated. 4 years is too tiny, very tiny. 24 year terms seems about right, even the Founding Fathers thought so, or I’ve been told.

    Considering the president's cratering approval numbers, I will disagree with this. And, as much as I hoped Bolton would testify, I think the book coming out now could actually help matters more than if he testified or if the book came out months ago. Trump was never going to be removed from office. Bolton testifying would've likely made a few more republicans vote for removal which would've made the impeachment a bigger deal than it was. 

    But the book coming out now, at a time when the country is coming to terms with what a terrible person and president this guy is, will just further cement this into people's heads as we get closer and closer to 11/3. 

    Of course, the fact that Trump is doing everything he can to prevent the book from coming out just further emphasizes how damaging it is to his administration.

    As for Bolton, you may be right that this could turn out more impactful.  But still, fuck him for holding this back and selling a book.

    i will say that i am not super happy with the recent project lincoln ad about trump's declining health. i do not like the fact that they are going after something that he can't really help, like his declining mental state. i think it is obvious to everyone paying attention to him. i would hope we would not go that low in attacking him, because that type of ad is exactly what trump would run against biden. i hated that trump mocked the disabled reporter. that recent ad made me feel like project lincoln was mocking trump by being ableist, which in my eyes makes them no better than trump. at least on that ad.

    i agree with this. if the man is in failing health i don't think that is something to use in a campaign. i don't get the two hands on a water bottle thing to drink, but I actually get the timid walking down the ramp/stairs.  some steep stairs/ramps like that I take gingerly myself and I'm no where near 76 years old so that one I get.

    besides i think about 98% of the voting population is not going to be swayed at this point. if you are not a full GOP shill and still are on the fence about this man well then your not paying attention or you are clueless...in my humble opinion

    I don't have a problem attacking Trump for anything. I wouldn't attack most humans for physical and mental frailties, but Trump is in a special class all his own. He has no regard for anyone else, and is quick to make fun of everyone for any reason. He deserves this stuff. The Lincoln Project's videos, Jimmy Kimmel, James Cordon, etc... Even the Biden campaign did one with Biden and Obama running around through the Whitehouse and chugging water, contrasting that with video of the feeble orange guy struggling with the ramp and unable to lift a glass to his mouth. I endorse these attacks because he deserves them. All of them. And more.

    Rubin had a decent opinion piece in the WaPo today that basically stated that the press should be asking if Team Trump Treason is mentally and physically fit to hold office and be re-elected because the American people have a right to know. Not to mock but to make an informed decision because some of the behaviors exhibited may indicate serious cognitive decline. Also, that not asking about or pressing the administration when he jumbles words or spouts of a word salad, we're allowing the normalization of what might be unfitness to serve. All solid points.

    Rubin had a decent opinion piece in the WaPo today that basically stated that the press should be asking if Team Trump Treason is mentally and physically fit to hold office and be re-elected because the American people have a right to know. Not to mock but to make an informed decision because some of the behaviors exhibited may indicate serious cognitive decline. Also, that not asking about or pressing the administration when he jumbles words or spouts of a word salad, we're allowing the normalization of what might be unfitness to serve. All solid points.
    Biden needs a commercial of him out jogging or something...
