That man and woman got fed up when they couldn't understand why BLM can rally so much against police brutality yet do not rally against the senseless killing of hundreds and hundreds of black men killed in Chicago during this decade alone, but get called a "racist" when asking this even in a non-threatening, sincere way. That man and woman got tired of being called racist when they sincerely ask "what is so wrong w a barrier controlling and who enters our country" in this flavor of the week terror strike era and drains on public finances due to illegals. I could go on and on. But. This is who voted for Trump. There"s millions just like these two out there. The more this continues, the more they insure his re-election if he has a modicum of success with economy or whatever. So before we carry on questioning the morals or ethics and intellect of the Trump voter, I would hope we do what we hoped the Democrat party used to be known for: empathy. We were given two choices basically. You can never convince me 47% of my fellow Americans are despicable, racist, bigots. Most Americans I know are far, far from this, even some I know voted for him. Four years is not a very long time in reality. There's still time to win this man and woman back because they don't necessarily support Trump, but want what is best for their beloved country. They saw it a different way from the left this time and voted their conscience. Generalizing all Trump supporters as despicable ppl only drives these people farther and farther away.

1. its shouldn't be anyones business what other people have in their shopping carts and how they pay for those items. continue your honorable dedication to your own kids. relative comparisons: the annual cost of EBT which helps feed human beings (regardless if you and I think fruit roll ups and rollos are proper nutrition) to say annual corporate welfare/corporate tax avoidance or the 2008 Economic Stabilization Act which helps line the pockets of millionaires.
2. I think BLM protest rally and march for accountability and lawlessness: when an officer(s) murders someone on video they face no accountability or punishment, not even an indictment, they get a desk job or paid leave, when a black citizen murders another black citizen (black on black crime!) on video, if captured they are indicted, tried and convicted of murder, they go to jail...understand the difference?

That's a good documentary. Nice to see the Young At Heart thing still going on. That performance of Fix You by Coldplay was the highlight of that film.

Speaking of Hollywood, it's worth nothing these are the same uneducated morons who believe that propaganda from Pure Flix, Kirk Cameron and Dinesh deserves Oscars. Gods Not Dead is like Gone With The Wind, Citizen Kane, Godfather etc. to them.

as much as i've ridiculed those around here who voted Trump, there is a huge innocent minority who really put him into office. These are good people, but they can also easily be manipulated by fear. It has to do with Christian values more than anything. Trump got a taste of the love from this crowd in the 80's when he showed up for WWF matches. he didn't get that kind of love in Manhattan. it was probably like a drug to his narcissistic brain from then on.

So before we carry on questioning the morals or ethics and intellect of the Trump voter, I would hope we do what we hoped the Democrat party used to be known for: empathy. We were given two choices basically. You can never convince me 47% of my fellow Americans are despicable, racist, bigots. Most Americans I know are far, far from this, even some I know voted for him. Four years is not a very long time in reality. There's still time to win this man and woman back because they don't necessarily support Trump, but want what is best for their beloved country. Exactly. Conservative Christians are so focused on being anti-abortion that they knowingly voted for a racist who admitted to sexually assaulting women because he said he wants Roe v Wade overturned. It's pathetic that all a candidate needs to say is that their anti-abortion and that they'll cut taxes and they'll get a huge portion of the vote, even one that should be on the sex offender registration.

I think what most people are underestimating is that he literally is a celebrity (eye roll) and to those who are completely uninterested and don't care about politics... these people vote and they recognize him from the television. There is a little of every component into how he got elected, including this big group.

Think about when you were a kid and you didn't know anything about politics but you seemed to like one candidate over another for one reason or another. Lots of people only know him from TV but that can be more than enough for some because they won't read up on politics.
