I do believe that Trump ran a racist campaign. I don't know if I believe that Trump the man is a racist, but Trump the candidate and the President plays on fears of other races. When he says Mexicans are sending criminals and rapists, the logic of that is to play on the public's fear of losing their country to Mexicans. When you say that a religion is at war with us and that you're proposing restricting access to people of a certain religion from certain areas...that's racist. When you actually make a preference in refugees coming from one religion over another, it's racist.
So there's that. Stick around here though, man. We'll do battle plenty I'm sure but if we ever met at a show- who gives a shit about A Moving Train?
I don't think present Trump has anything against Mexican people. He has said repeatedly, that we have to get rid of CRIMINAL aliens not necessarily from Mexico, that commit crimes, get sent out & come back to commit more crimes. And or criminal illegal ailliens living amongst us.
And do a better job on determining who is coming and going. Violent criminals & rapists should never be tolerated no matter where they are from. My wife is an immigrant. She was in a lottery, that allowed her to come here with a visa in the first place. She came here legally & we went through the lengthy process and is now a citizen. What's wrong with that? And she & I had to make several trips to the immigration office.
We had to show & prove that it was not a fraudulent marriage, that she wasn't here to live on the dole. they do all kinds of background checks. It took some effort. This was 10 years ago before all this came up with Trump.
So what part about requiring people that want to come here, come here legally, and don't have bad intentions for the United States what part of that is racist?
The lines between geographic locations, religion, & race (which I thought was skin color) seem to have become blurred.
I think he is trying to keep radicals who want to kill us out, not a religion. But some religions instruct their people to get into trucks and plow into people, or shoot up gay nightclubs. See now why would you want those people here? What ever that religion is, I don't want them here do you? Is that unfair?0 -
