Great Deep magazine. As a collector it is neat to see all of that history.
Would be great in future Deep magazines to have band member interviews about the recording process for certain songs or albums. Always fun to read about that stuff. In depth stuff (not like what you would read in Rolling Stone or hear in a radio interview).

@Santos L. Halper and KS - this Deep is beyond phenomenal. Thank you for all the effort put into it. So great to hear Wishing Well "officially" as well.

Bootlegger, have you read the PJ20 book? It has the in depth conversations about the recording of each album and specific songs. It is a must read.
Guess I can listen to the download while I wait by the mailbox...
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
That issue of Deep is awesome!!! Great memorabilia collection by KS - is that Kevin Shuss? And cool to see an issue of Release in there (a fanzine I did in the nineties :-) ).
This version of Wishing Well is a different take from the one previously available, great cover (they should have put this somewhere in Disc 1 of Lost Dogs like originally planned).. if not for Ed plus that other sexy girl, this would have been a great single instead of just an ok one.. Jay-z and Beyoncé.. what's next? a fuckin duet with some cool dude from One Direction? Eh.
Got mine in Jersey last Thursday... Don't know what that means for people who haven't gotten it yet. The single is meh, but the issue of Deep is one of the best yet.
I'm not very happy that some people in Seattle got theirs and I didn't, I live less than 5 miles from 10c.
You need to drive over there and Knock on their door!!! You may have already received yours though -- I did not read past the first page of this.
Santos snarkily gave the reason for this a page or so back.
Flight Risk out NOW!

Totally rad Deep issue. Wishing Well is a cool tune, Redemption is ok. Beyonce has a bit too much vibrato for some reason, maybe she was nervous sitting next to such an accomplished artist

For all the negative nancies, the following is a list of all the songs from the previous Ten Club singles. Songs marked with ** indicate songs that were not performed by "Pearl Jam" but rather featured one or more member. Further more, there's been a ton of "Pearl Jam with..." So as you can see, they're carrying on a long standing tradition. So stop complaining!

I think it's a matrix of the original recording and a recent session. The lead vocal is definitely new and so are the keyboards. But I can tell the backing vocals ("Love and peace no more..." at 1:40) are from the original recording because it contains the same laughter from one of the band members that's on the original recording. I think most of the guitars are from the original too but it sounds like there may be a new lead part in there. I love it.
