Lol at the people thinking that sweeping under this the rug and pretending like it didn't happen would be less of an uproar then the other way around. I have talked to plenty of people today that are livid that most of the good seats are already scooped up and they had zero chance in getting them. Also for those that think that scalpers didn't get any check out stubhub. Prices are going up and up.
What is easier? From ticket.com point of view? Cancelling every single order. Refunding all the money. Throwing all those tickets back in the pool for tomorrow.
OR
Just leave the ticket purchases as is.
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Got lucky and scored one ticket turf section B1 row13 seat 28. Looking to trade it for a night 2. PM if interested.

I think ultimately, as someone said, it's up to the band and Livenation. Livenation only cares about selling tickets, so I would assume that they are fine with it. PJ might look into how "fair" it was, but ultimately, they just want tickets sold too. I would be interested to see actually how many tickets were sold. Are we thinking it was hundreds? Thousands? I'm sure we'll never know, but selfishly, I hope it sticks. Takes the stress out of tomorrow.

Word. Not like the whole thing sold out. There were still some seats in turf C3 available just before it got shut down. They still have 25,000+ seats (probably more) to sell tomorrow.

Seriously. I wasn't even gonna go until this happened. Now I'm in for both. I know I'm just one person, but hey that's 2 more tickets to each night sold.

im in the same boat. I was on the fence, but Im Fenway all the way now
Keep in mind that IF they cancel them, and that's a BIG IF, it takes like 3-4 days to get that $$ back on peeps cards. That would suck majorly for everyone who scored. I'm going to say they should cancel them but they won't.

Its not tickets.com its Livenation and Fenway. Also its not about whats easier its about what is fair to the system. Listen if I got tickets today I would hope to god that I could keep them and they do not refund them but the if the vast majority of the public catches wind of this glitch they will not be happy. Also I think its great that PJ fans got these tickets but if you look at stubhub resellers grab a lot of seats as well.
Neither was letting some people win both nights through the lottery while many lost both nights. I was one of the unlucky but good karma just came my way and I scored a ticket. It all seems fair to me now lol

I'd say a few hundred. I saw they were for sale when I went to check what the prices would be, then went on here to see if anyone noticed yet. There was only about 5 comments in the topic. I'd say they were onsale for maybe half hour-ish. Not sure if people bought more than four or brokers got in on it. Just from people on here, i'd say probably less than 200.
I would say that this 'event' has made it so many more fans got these seats as opposed to scalpers and brokers and bots and such
Right, while I'm sure some scalpers/brokers caught wind and got some seats, I'd bet that more went to real PJ fans who found out from this board and facebook.
