Just talked to a person at the ticket office. She said that they are waiting for the band and live nation to decide if the tickets will remain sold, or be released back to general sale. I was told to call in the morning before public sale to find out.
OK. so they are legit seats and the "double sold" tickets was just a lie/nonsense, right?
I think the folks in the Red Sox office had no idea what happened and just came up with some random answer. The tickets.com answer is the one I believe.
My guess... Tickets purchased will be honored. Rest of tickets will go onsale tomorrow at noon. This will all blow over by tomorrow night. (atleats tickets.com is hoping so)

Apparently no one on here is on slickdeals.net... The 1st rule is to never call on a slick deal!!
Now everyone is calling making this a big deal with the box office when you could just be silent and your tickets won't get cancelled and you have awesome seats!
anything to this... from another website, someone claims they bought 2 seats with the option of paper or mail, then when he sent back he bought 2 more (better seats) and they were only mail, then when he went back again before he completed the purchase he got the tech difficulties. i wonder if tickets.com first pulled the plug on paper tickets so they could better contain the leak, ie not mailing out the tickets if they deem them "void".
So both nights on stub hub. not 1 ticket in A-3,4,5. A2 and 6 are all coming up wheelchair. was trying to make sense of it
Wheelchairs are probably at front of A2 and A6, but not the entire sections would be my guess. I assume 10 club has A2 thru A6 and B2 thru B6 plus some good sections in the stands (if there is such a thing).
from what i can tell a2 and a6 are wheelchair accesible only
No way there are that many seats for wheelchair access.
And no way A3, 4 & 5 are band guests, band guests are always behind 10 club.
Actually not so true. In 2013 at both Charlottesville and Baltimore I had "VIPs" in front of me and I have a low number and was in sections right next to the stage.
one thing that might impact the decision to refund is ticket limits. PJ always limits... but today, it appeared wide open for as many as you wanted to buy (unless I missed something). If there were multiple groups of 4's sold to the same people they would almost have to refund. Tough to explain a limit imposed tomorrow but not today.
