Ye I´m sooo proud of my swedish players as long as Zlatan doesn´t play!

But I didn´t think it was fair that Sweden got the victory, I mean one human destroyed so much for the whole nation and we didn´t get a "real" victory.
And we would have put the penalty in behind the goalie anyway so=)

Yeah you would have. So no need getting all excited about it. But if I was the fistswinging idiot, I would be a bit worried. Especially since a SMS with his full name and adress is circulating! (lives in Sweden btw)

  • What do you guys think we can expect for the Copnhagen show? Of course I can´t say for sure, but personally I think that we´re in for a very special night. A show and setlist like no other in Pearl Jam touring history. Because of the tragic events at Roskilde Festival, i´m sure that most of the show will be dedicated to the memory of the 9 young men who lost their lives 7 years ago.
I think it´ll be very emotional, but I think it´ll have a cleansing and positive effect on the band, and for those in the crowd, who we´re there at the concert at Roskilde. I wasn´t there 7 years ago (i´ve been to Roskilde 3 times since), but still I know i´ll be deeply moved when Pearl Jam are playing LBC in Copenhagen..(Which I hope and think they will).. I don´t know whether the band will only play their ballads on the evening and leave out the harder Rock songs, but these are a few songs I would chose for the setlist:

LBC (I´ll be very surprised and disappointed if this song isn´t included)
    Immortality
    Light years
Man of the hour ( One of my personal alltime PJ favourites, and a song which I find very fitting for the Denmark show.)
    Off he goes
    Nothing as it seems

What do you guys expect and hope will happen at the Copenhagen gig?

    See you there.

Long Road opener, possibly with arc before it. LBC captain near the start, or at the start at of the first encore. Other than that, last kiss, man of the hour and come back are all certainties.

I still think that Eddie playing "Alive" as preopener would be sensational - pretty sure it won't happen though...

On the contrary! I think it will be a very strong statement - and also a tribute to the 9 guys.
But okay - I see how it can be interpreted otherwise, so maybe you're right...

I can't see why they shouldn't play Alive. Sure the lyrics can be misinterpreted, but when I hear it, it makes me think that life goes on and even though bad things happen, we still have to make the best of it and get on......

Imo LBC is a sure bet. Other than that Immortality and Man of the hour.

Only 15 days to go! :D:D:D And I just managed to get the day off:)

Hehe... I finally told my new boss on Wednesday about needing time off for London and Copenhagen and he was surprisingly great about it... although I think the way I put it was that he was expecting me to say I need a month off... so when I said 2 days and 3 days he was relieved :D

I put the set as suggested by pj_denmark into a playlist on my Ipod and have heard it all night. That would be one helluva opening set. Followed by some faster tunes and a brand new cover of course ;)
