I'm going to be arriving at Copenhagen airport at five (tight in terms of timing I know but the only flight I can get). What would be the quickest way to get to the venue - metro or taxi?

Thanks to anyone who can advise!

You have to take the train to Noerreport and then take the metro to Forum. It will probably take about 30 minutes I think.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll have to take the metro but it's going to be tight for the 10C entry!

If I was you, I'd take the taxi. Certainly quicker. More expensive but quicker.
I hope for you your flight won't be late.
Just take a hand luggage so taht you don't have to wait 30 minutes ofr your bags...

No luggage! I thought that a taxi might get me there in less time but am worried about getting stuck in traffic etc. I just want to get there before general admisson although at the shows I went to last year, 10C entry always ran late - Athens if I remember by 45 mins or so. My other 10C ticket is still available btw if anyone's interested although it might be a risk given my possible late arrival...

I just checked, there is about 14 km from the airport to Forum, so you will probably get there sooner by cab.

I hope you will make it in time :)

For those who are familiar with Copenhagen, my friends and I are staying at 'Hotel Copenhagen' and was wondering if it's best to get a bus or taxi or train from the hotel to the venue?

    Address is Egilsgade 33, 2300 Copenhagen S.
    Any info is appreciated, thanks!

I would take a cab from the hotel...it's only about 3-4 km from the venue.

But you can also take the Metro from Islands Brygge.

I've looked at that sort of stuff. Metro looks dead easy. We're right by the University stop on the metro. The venue is also a metro stop aswell.

The place you stay is right next to the train st. jyllingevej, you can take the S.Train from jyllingevej to vanløse st. its only one stop, on vanløse st. you switch to the metro, and it stops at forum st. "the venue" after 10 minutes time...

Since it's a school night and all, I think the after show party will have to do. (for me at least)

For those not aware of this yet:

The afterparty starts on a club called The Rock. Opens at 22:00. Can't remember the price, but it's cheap. So be there or be......A Creed fan!

I´m gonna take the opportunity(spelling?) of asking one more travel question here.
Hows the connections to the airport at night?
My plane leaves at 8.00 am, so was hoping of get some drinks at the after party and then heading to the airport and get a couple of sleeping hours.

You can take the night bus 96n from studiestræde (streetname) 5 minutes walk from the rock, to kastrup lufthavn it leaves at 2.17, 3.17, 4.17 the tour takes about 30 minutes

You can take the train from the central train station in Copenhagen to Malmö. It takes 35 minutes. But I don't know how far Malmö Airport is from the train station.

Not shure what you mean by W.O. But if it any way point to the fact that you're swedish and in any way proud of it, the hounds will be released ;) Nah, just kidding. Remember that it was a danish "fan" that ruined the game......
