The OP started this thread and then preceded to bash on Obama he is the one who derailed it , after all to come up with even one good thing Trump would do as president is really hard to do ....

This dude again...Here let me correct you once again, smart one. I started the thread and wanted to try to get Trump supporters on here to give their opinions. Then, countless replies were sent bashing Trump, conservatives, and the Republican Party. So what in the fuck would you expect me to do? Just say "uh-huh, uh-huh"? I along with 2 others decided to give our opinions back just as you did. So don't fucking say that we bashed Obama for no reason. You nice people started it first.

    Have a great day!
Again what will he do to make America great again , maybe if you posted some of his accomplishments we could debate them you can just say his great and is going to do great things but after a while that gets old ...so please post some of the positives his so good at ...
Okay here are some of his accomplishments that would play a factor in him making America great again:

-Well accomplished and well-respected business man who worked and still works his ass off to make his business a success. This shows that he has high energy and will continue to work in the Oval Office

-His investing in companies got him the money that he has today. He's had ups and downs and has even filed for bankruptcy on more than one occasion. This shows that he's learned from his failures and would help him to know right from wrong when it comes to being in charge of a country.

The list of accomplishments goes on further but those are the main two. Many have said that running a business is so different than running a country. And I can agree with that. However, with his experiences I believe that he has the qualifications to deal with the economy correctly along with dealing with foreign policy correctly. Those are just my opinions that I'm sure many agree with.

Okay instead of just telling everyone to have a great day, I'll tell you something that you will most likely deny but it's true.

If Donald Trump was running for president in the Democratic Party, he would not get the same amount of country-wide criticism as he does now. And the reason for this is that liberals have the biggest mouths out of anyone and will do anything to voice their opinions. And never have I heard liberals admit that a Democratic president didn't get the job done.

I mean, look at "President" Obama. For the past 8 gruesome years, what has he done? The best thing that he did was send out the Seals to do away with Osama Bin Laden. Other than that, all he's done is take vacations and play golf with his White House buddies. Jimmy Carter must be so happy that he's no longer the worst president in the history of our nation.

    Now let's hear you disagree...

What is your objective here? First you start out with the supposed motive to start a pro-Trump-for-president thread and then you move on to making derogatory and inflammatory comments about past presidents that are not well substantiated at best and false at worst, and then start in with the liberal bashing nonsense. I'll never understand why people like you are even PJ fan club members in the first place given the left leaning tendency of the band members themselves. Do you get paid to do this? Strange.
I love it when someone busts out the ,"How can you be a PJ fan if you are not in support of the left"? Its even better when you are automatically considered racist/bigot if you have some conservative values.
Hey Pearl34 good luck w/ your quest, if anything you achieved something by getting all the silly libbies on here's panties in a bunch. Its fun and one of the reasons why I check the train every day or so taking a dump at work. I sure HOPE someone makes America Great again in the coming years.
Thank you, sir. I'm glad to finally read a comment here that is what the intention of this thread was. Once again, thank you.
And thank you both for finally making it clear what the intention of this thread is. Thanks for keeping us entertained.
And thank everyone in this thread for barging in this thread like I thought you would. You all just couldn't help but come in here and argue. Would us "right wing fools" barge into the Bernie Sanders or a Clinton thread? Probably not. How rude.

yup, check the comments of any political yahoo ad or and democratic video on youtube. Filled with conservatives just purely insulting everyone's views.
IMDB Politics is really FUBAR as well. Make any common sense statement and you're accused of being a "Digby Sock."

These may indeed be Trump's personal accomplishments but these things have little or nothing too do with the common man or woman. And what good is a thriving economy that ultimately despoils it's land base, trashes the environment, alters the climate and wears out/wears down and exploits the common worker? Looking to a man who knows how to make a pile of money to lead a country is like looking to a man who knows how sell enough tickets to fill the house and then expect he will know how to write the symphony to be played that evening.

And looking to AMT to find voices in support of Trump is like going to a Pearl Jam concert to find the few in the crowd there who hate the song "Alive". True, there are always a few in the crowd, ya know?

I hear ya. And when I made this thread I was expecting to get some of the responses that have been coming in. It was an experiment that obviously failed. I expected maybe a few in the forums to stand with me, and a few did. I made it to show that there are actual supporters here. Some showed up and others maybe stayed quiet. And that's fine with me. I have no problem with opposite opinions and I actually enjoy hearing what others think, whether I disagree or not.

He's a rich businessman like tens of thousands other Americans. This qualifies him to be our President?

He claims he never filed for personal bankruptcy. He just basically abused laws so he could get out of paying people he owed large sums of money to. From his twitter:
    Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump
Stop saying I went bankrupt. I never went bankrupt but like many great business people have used the laws to corporate advantage—smart!

At which point of our roughly 240 year history does Trump want to bring us back to make us Great Again??

There's never been a perfect time, but I think if we would just follow the advice of George Washington, not form political parties and make decisions based on the good of the country and not your party would be good.

I do believe that Obama has tried atleast to do this, but the president doesn't have as much power as they did back in the Washington days, so you have to rely on congress and other parts of government to do the same, which is not the case today.

So I gather you think such laws aren't that fantastic.

Do you think Trump would work to serve the general public who ultimately pay for corporate loopholes... or work to serve people like himself and maintain- perhaps even build- corporate benefits so the rich can get richer exploiting (as Brian said) the land, resources, and your people en route to building a pile of gold?

I would like to hear exactly how Mr trump claims to "make America great again" for the majority of the people in this country (the working class, the middle class).
All I've heard so far is his plan to keep brown people out, and I don't see that helping anyone.
Can someone perhaps clarify his tax breaks plan? That is, if anyone would really be worried about their taxes when they are making a lot less than they used to.

I'm not impressed with the ways that tax incentives have been given to businesses in my community and don't seem to have benefited anyone but the actual businesses, which will almost certainly pack up and move when their deals expire. Do I blame Trump for using deals like that? I suppose not, if communities are gullible enough to go along with them. Doesn't mean I think Trump has done those communities any good nor that it makes him qualified to lead a nation. More that we are a country of slow learners.

He worked his first big deal in the 70s with a tax break and a "small loan" of $1million from his dad. I just can't look at that and say, "Wow, what a self-made man!"

Gore Vidal once talked about how he knew several presidents, some of whom he liked very much, some he had much disdain for, but either way he said, "To get to that level they were all in somebodies pocket. All of them." Now, it will be interesting to see how this would pan out if Trump were to be elected seeing as he is one of the deep pockets. (But they'll have to make a movie or TV show about that because he won't be.)

Oh, and what would Vidal say about all this? Oh how I wish he were still with us!

yeah anytime I hear a politician say they want to abolish the IRS I think "are they really that stupid or are they just pandering to the stupid?"

The IRS does nothing but collect taxes and enforce the tax laws passed by Congress. They do not make laws. In what situation would in make sense to abolish the agency that provides funding to the military and everything else funded by the government? Just plain ignorant.

If I knew that you would bash my every word I wouldn't say anything on here either.

Give some people a chance to speak. It sucks when all you get is negative feedback.

The Trump supporters are obviously in the minority so let them have a voice.

I pay my taxes and obey the laws. I would like to have the government impact my life as little as possible....
Pollution. Without EPA the Great Lakes would be dead along with Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico. Power plants and refineries would be filling our air with even more soot.

I don't support Donald Trump for President. I do however, in keeping with the spirit of the thread**!!**, appreciate what Trump has said about Jeb and the Iraq war. "Disaster, No energy" ect, ect.

Have enjoyed Trumps bashing of rights past positions and members. The McCain thing was Funny. And he got away with it. Imagine Obama saying this?
