Some of you mentioned that Luke wiped Rey's memory before abandoning her.
I have never known of Jedi's being able to do that, it never happened in the previous films.
Everyone seems to be guessing Rey is Luke's daughter. I'd laugh if the next one proves us wrong with a big twist. What if Rey is a former pupil of Luke's? The only survivor who was sent to Jakku to protect her fro Kylo?

This makes a lot of sense. Would explain why she knows so much about her powers despite allegedly never having been trained.

I just found out that the Stormtrooper that gets Jedi mind-tricked is Daniel Craig. Anyone know if that is confirmed?

Yeah it is. Ewan McGregor, Alec Guiness, and the guy who voiced the original Yoda also make cameos too!

I wonder if Yoda will appear as a force ghost in this trilogy to guide Luke and Rey.

Before you focus on Rey and Finns being noobz and handling a lightsaber, remember this

If there are no Jedi left on in the galaxy, why is it that stormtroopers are armed with weapons to deal specifically with Lightsabers?
Meaning the duel between Finn and random stormtrooper swinging his electro lightsaber around.

Surely if all the Jedi were dead, there'd be no need for such a weapon on a random stormtrooper

And why is it that stormtroopers are apparently super skilled all a sudden when in the OT they'd drop dead even if a blaster bolt hits a wall ten feet away?

What? It happens loads in the original trilogy.
    Ben-these aren't the droids you're looking for
Luke -you will take me to your master now.

Jedi mind trick is a win and on show here in spades

I thought Chewie would bite the bullet in this one, mainly because the guy how plays him has to use a cane to get around and it can't be easy to move in that costume.

    Han's ending surprised me.

I was scared Chewie would die. Gosh, that would be so heartbreaking.

In the 1st trailer that begins with Rey swinging around inside the the Star Destroyer, a women's voice says "who are you?" I don't recall hearing that in the movie. Did anyone notice it?
    Alright, alright, alright!

No, nor did I hear Luke's speech that was in a trailer also, in which he's telling someone how the force runs through her family.

Didn't Maz say "who are you?" to Rey when she was down being called by Luke's lightsaber?

Maybe. I guess I'll have to watch again. It's most likely her voice in the trailer though. I couldn't think of her name earlier.

Just saw it for the second time. Definitely looks like a grave Luke is standing next to at the end. Great hearing both Alec Guinness and Ewin McGregor in the vision/memory montage.

    Can't wait for Episode 8!

In her force flash back/flash forward you hear Alec Guiness' obi wan say 'Rey?' And then just as the vision ends you hear Ewan mcgregors obi wan say 'these are your first steps'

Hinting slightly that she may be a descendant of obi wan

I still maintain she's Lukes daughter tho.

Wow, I totally missed that as that scene just flashed by.
I need to watch it for a second time to observe this.

Possibly, but I wouldn't think so.....

I would think the pyre would have been it for Vader.

Production notes from the Skellig / island scene says Luke is guarding a sith tomb.
So maybe Snoke n co want to raid that tomb for some powerful artefact and Luke has to be there in case they'd Come.

I loved every second that Han Solo was onscreen. Felt it was a great swan song for the character. Had a feeling going in this was going to be it for Han, and as the film played out it becomes clear where they were going. He'll be missed going forward but I am so thankful we got what we did. The coolness, the swagger, the banter...easily one of my all-time favorite movie characters.

How can you like that scruffy faced nerfherder??
