I'd need to see the film to understand the Rey's parents meme?

Most of the movie is a spoof of Star Wars. It's very good.

    interesting idea for episode 8.
There's a bounty out on Finn for going awol and Benecio del Toros character is a bounty hunter out to find him.

You don't hire del toro to play a good guy

They'd better make him better than the Fetts! Bona Fett is the most overrated character of anything ever. Cool costume, sure, but his big moment was when he bumbled into the Sarlac pit.

    He's certainly no Dengar.

In the trailer, in response to Leia's "who are you?" question Rey answers "I'm no one".
Could she just that, no one. Not Luke's daughter, not OB1's daughter, just a random force sensitive being?

If she was no one I don't think they would have created the mystery of who her parents are, of who abandoned her on Jakku. If she was no one I think we would get a shot of her parents grave and learn definitively that they were dead. Instead they became a plot thread.

And why send her to find Luke? It could be a bait and switch but Abrams has said he knows who her parents are so we'll find out too but the latest thinking is we might not find out until episode 9!

That's great. Not buying that Anakin reborn story.

    Comes out on Tuesday!!!
I am more excited for the blue ray than I was for the theatrical release.
Now we can all watch it obsessively and reinforce our theories!!
I am going to wait until the wife and baby go to bed and I am gonna have a bowl and really dig in on this one!

This might just be my favorite movie ever, we will see... Return of the King is hard to beat

I pre-ordered mine through Amazon and am hoping it shows up a day or two or three early.

I'm hoping the Blu Ray contains some Rogue One features.

Just watched the Blu Ray ... I think I gave John Boyega a pass when I watched the movie in the theater. He is a borderline bad actor but seems better when compared to prior male leads in Star Wars films.

Also, I watched the movie at someone else's house and had to stop in 5 minutes in to go to the TV settings to turn off the "Tru Motion" setting that makes movies look like fucking soap operas.

Who in the living fuck came up with that goddamn setting???

Still no clues really into who Snoke is, but Maz Kanata says, paraphrasing, "Whoever you're waiting for on Jakku, they are never coming back, but there is one who still could."
If Luke was her father this line wouldn't make much sense.

I really don't want that to be the case, I want her to be a nobody, like Anakin. It makes for a much more compelling story for me, and introduces a much needed feminism to the series.
