I'm happy, but let's no get too amped up. If you want to know how important Iowa is, ask President Santorum and President Huckabee.

For sure, but it's always fun to call Trump a loser.

From everything I've heard up till this point Trump has no organization or ground game. You're not going to win in politics in this day and age without it. You need to get all the dummies willing to vote for you out to vote, Trump just showed us he can't do that.

    Can I hear a big

My guess is that the establishment money starts backing Rubio.

Cruz winning gives me shivers down my spine. Ladies and gents he may get this thing. Then we should be afraid. Very afraid.

    How bout Rubio. And Jeb?

  • Cruz being nominated would be a massive gift to the Democrats. Go Cruz!!

However...it's very likely that Trump is going to crush Cruz in New Hampshire which shifts the momentum back to Trump.

Rubio is the real victor in Iowa...he almost got as much support as Trump

And...as pointed out before, Santorum won Iowa 4 years ago and Huckabee 8 years ago...means nothing

It was basically a three way tie in Iowa, although once folks drop out of the race I would expect their votes would go to Rubio.
  • in the beginning of all of this, I had zero idea who Sanders was. WOW.

Great, Thomas Sowell. He's a figgin' genius. Here's the thing. Capitalism breeds the have's and the have nots, by the very nature of its being. But even outside the moral argument (the Christian argument of helping the least of these (Matthew 25)), minimizing disparity amongst the classes increases domestic tranquility and reduces the likelihood of revolution. Look at France1789, Russia 1917 and all sorts of other examples. So while Thomas's quote is cool and great for one liners, it ignores both the New Testament and the historical evidence of the need to have some sort of narrowing of the classes.

You don't use public roads, rely on volunteer fire fighters, police departments, ambulances and EMTs, hospitals, etc then?

Haha! Well, Cruz does have that same kind of beady-eyed look as Stephen Harper, and I always thought that Harper looks kind of like a pedophile, so that's proof, right? ;)
