The only people profiting are the ones selling balcony seats (not the ones I outlined here) on StubHub for more than 20% above face value. Because that's the only price-point in the secondary market that is selling for profit and recovering Stubhub fees. So I don't appreciate it when people try to demean people selling the $750 and $1000 seats for hundreds off to real fans right here on the forum who can now go for MUCH less than face value. I'm the scalper? Right, ok, whatever.

No longer have the 104G ticket. Still have 108N and 107V sets if you're interested.

I think Red Lukin was implying the original intention was to buy multiple sets of tickets in order to scalp them for profits but that it didn't work out that way and now people are trying to get whatever cash they can get back.

I don't think that's it at all. These forums and stubhub have always been full of people unloading tickets for pearl jam shows for various reasons. It just so happens that due to how high the prices are on these tickets, there's a greater sense of urgency to making sure that as much of the ticket price is recovered and that's what's being detected and perceived.

    **SOLD**

Yes, I too have a spare ticket to this show (section 106, row J). This was the first ticket I grabbed, then because I'm obsessive, I checked back a few days later and grabbed another closer to the stage.

This was originally a $500 ticket ($518.55 with fees), willing to part with it for $400 (or best offer, seeing that concert is a little more than a week away!). It's in the front row of section 106, and you'll have a great view/ample leg room :D Will only accept PayPal, I will transfer ticket once I receive payment.

    Seating chart: http://www.rosemont.com/theatre/tickets-events/seating/
360 view (click on "View Tour" then scroll to the right and click on section 106): http://www.rosemont.com/theatre/events/360-view/

The prices have been dropping on StubHub daily and I think by mid next week they'll really drop!

I'm pretty confident I'll find a ticket for $100.00 by show time as StubHub or even Craigslist will be begging people to buy their tickets. Hell... even on this forum people are trying to sell new sets of tickets daily. Hard to believe with this line-up.

Wait, so now that description says Daltrey is "hosting" the evening?

Also I thought I read somewhere a few Who shows were cancelled this week because Roger has to rest his vocal cords.

i would rather roger host so ed can concentrate on singing more songs!!
if roger is trying to rest his voice it means he won't be singing/straining his voice. let ed do that!
    thats my hope anyways

Flippers gonna take a beating on this one.

May have to call in sick, and go to the show.
Cuz I have a feeling I will be able to get $500 tickets for about $17.25.

They also said "Never before have these greats come together to perform!". I suppose that statement could be interpreted different ways, but EV has performed with both The Who and Pete Townshend solo on more than 1 occasion. So, the statements might not be perfectly accurate.

Seriously... I might just wait for the day of the show and offer a couple of beers at the venue for a ticket. I cannot believe how many tickets are for sale right now. Many of these tickets are going to go to waste and no one will use them. Sad.

I have a feeling you will be able to do much better than that.

It's actually a win-win situation here. The flippers donated the big money to the charity. And the true fans, who were not able to score the cheaper seats, are now able to go to the show.

Dude... I am seriously considering ditching work for two days, using some Southwest miles to get a plane ticket, and sleeping in the airport on the 14th after the show, just to get to this one after seeing the ticket surplus out there... it's crazy and so fucking tempting!!!!

I could literally walk to the venue from my house, yet I am not going to the show.
I have vacation/fishing plans the following week, and vacation/Rolling Stones plans the week after that. Cracks me up that The Who, and Vedder, are playing back to back nights, a couple miles from my house, and I am not going to either show.
